The food was delish, but I didn't care too much for the duck. (Even though it was something different to try with scallop) and the salad. The glaze was delish, our waiters were very attentive to detail, patient because we were seated right beside two older couples that were frequent flyers to the restaurant, but were super loud! Obnoxiously loud, and complained about how the veal wasn't cooked all the way, but still ate the rest of her plate?!...It's a restaurant where you should get dressed for the ambiance, and it's a nice little catty corner area that's hidden away but super popular and worth going to.The Chef personally came out and greeted us which I thought was nice. I gave it four because of the duck, it wasn't super warm and so it tasted a bit off from everything else that came with it.

Ordered the pan seared scallops and the portion was perfect as was as the taste. For entree we got the crab cake meal with fries and also the salmon Caesar salad. The salad needed a little more flavor but tasted pretty healthy and not overly cooked. The lights kept flickering inside, not sure what that was about. Staff was super friendly and attentive

A Baltimore fine dining institution, Linwoods is the perfect place for a celebration! Rustic tables with white table cloths & friendly greeters from the moment you walk in. -Maryland Crab Soup has huge lumps of crab meat. -Soup of the day was this carrot curry soup with crème fraiche - 1 of the best soups I've ever had! -French onion soup had a subtle broth with fantastic gruyere cheese -Crab cake is exceptional with this delicious tartar sauce, old bay chips were a bit oily. -Korean beef tacos were enough for a meal with a soup -Warm apple tart a la mode with housemade pastry. Phenomenal service that truly made every moment of the meal feel special!

I had lunch and enjoyed a delicious beef tenderloin a beet salad and a couple drinks!The drinks were good- and they were more like a drink and a third with the shaker given to me along with the glass- the food was flavorful the steak was cooked to perfection the ambiance was nice- it was chill vibes for lunch

Everything here is excellent. Definitely recommend. Very nice ambiance, great food and great service.

One year ago, the Linwoods team (shout out to Sherri Levin!) played an instrumental role in creating our dream wedding. For our one year anniversary, we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than to dine with the team in house! Greeted by the front of the house and immediately by our server with the same warmth and attentive hospitality, we knew we were in for a special evening. The staff immediately brought out complimentary celebratory Prosecco for us to toast the occasion, while our server thoughtfully guided us through our indecision over the delicious fall menu.We started off with the goat cheese ravioli and pepperoni pizza. My meat-eating counterpart gave the pizza two thumbs up for its delicately thin crust and perfect cheese to pepperoni ratio. Let's talk ravioli. Imagine perfectly al dente pockets filled with bright lemon-forward goat cheese, lightly coated in rich brown butter, surrounded by expertly cooked asparagus, crispy shallots and shaved Parmesan. You could say I didn't hesitate in cleaning that plate!For our mains, we went with the crab cake and za'atar eggplant. Also standouts! The crab cake was generous in portion, paired with addicting thin, crispy, fresh old bay potato chips. The za'atar eggplant was a walk down memory lane, as a version was featured at our wedding. Just as unique and flavorful as I remembered! A true vegetarian dream dish.To top the night off, the team delivered a complimentary s'mores dessert on the house. A brûléed marshmallow rested on top of a decadent dark chocolate square with graham cracker base. The perfect sweet bite to end the meal with!Linwoods team, thank you for making our first anniversary such a meaningful and memorable one. Can't wait to dine with you all again!

LET ME START OFF BY SAYING.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I always feel like places like this has the potential to be pretentious with mediocre service. However, maybe we lucked out with our server, but she was AMAZING! Very attentive, quick, great recommendations, and very friendly! I honestly cannot say the last time I received this kind of service anywhere. Next, the food... most of our table ordered the main seared tuna and it was DELICIOUS!! It was paired with crispy rice cake and ginger. Great flavors and cooked perfectly. My boyfriend got a pizza and despite it being thinnnn it was still crispy and chewy somehow while maintaining it's form. We also ordered a variety of apps and our favorite was the octopus. Perfectly cooked, not too chewy and paired so well with the hummus! The drink and wine selection was top notch as well! I got to try a variety of martinis and drinks throughout our dinner and it was well balanced. I almost forgot I was sitting in a restaurant in the middle of Owings Mills! The ambience was perfect too, not too quiet like most fine dining places and it looked like a lot of regulars were in attendance that night.

Interior was beautiful, servers were nice, and food was delicious. Great portions for the price. Enjoyed the chicken meatballs and bread pudding dessert. Chicken was a little dry which was disappointing since that seemed to be their specialty. I would return to try other dishes.

Reservations required and it was very busy on a Wednesday night. Excellent service and delicious food!Highly recommended!Worth multiple visits!

A very good friend of mine invited me to go to Linwoods for my birthday. I ordered the grilled octopus appetizer. I never had it before so I took a chance. I shared it with my friend. We liked it SO much that we ordered a one. Then, I ordered beef short ribs. They were so succulent, tender, and savory. The service was excellent as well. This was my fourth time there. I was never disappointed with Linwoods food, ambience, and service. Even the parking is good. I highly recommend Linwoods for an excellent memorable experience. When I get another chance, I will go there again.
