Man oh man. I broke a 42 hour fast, and wanted something that was going to hit the spot. I decided that I didn't have the energy to ride to Philly so I opted to go to Linda's considering it had been in my bookmarks forever. For starters, when I called, they were 5 minutes from closing. I totally would've understood if they didn't take my order but they assured me that they would have it ready and somebody would be in the building cleaning so it was ok, even though I told them that I lived 21 mins away. My cheesesteak was fantastic. The hots were good, there were plenty of onions, just delicious. Don't get me wrong, Linda's is not a restaurant. You won't get beautiful ambiance or scenery, and while all of that is nice, why are we really all here? Good food. And they have that. I would recommend Linda's to anyone.

So I'm a huuuuge cheesesteaak lover. As in I went to college in Philly just because I wanted access to the cheesy meaty goodness. Wasn't worth it, btw, because bmore metro just does it better IMHO. Anyways I'm super pregnant and have had countless subs trying to satisfy a heavy craving for a good one. Then I remembered...we live 20 minutes from here!! I haven't come by in yeeeaarrrssss...and was praying they'd be solid. I was not let down. I get the same order, no matter where I go. Bacon cheesesteak, fried onions, extra mayo, extra hots. Only. Skip the rabbit food. Super yummy! Can't wait to go back :)

We have been coming to this place for about 18 years--their meatball and cheese steak subs and fries are out of this world! They have expanded into a larger store front--which was smart--they were way too busy to be in just the one. The staff was very nice and didn't give us a hard time when we showed up 15 minutes before closing. The restaurant was clean. The food was hot and tasted as amazing as I remembered it before moving out west. This is one location that my hubby and myself make sure we hit EVERY SINGLE time we visit back home. This is known as our "go to" place! Truly the best subs in town!!!

Stuffed mushrooms looked pathetic and tasted disgusting!! They were soggy and mushy inside and some were mashed up. Italian Cold Cut was subpar tasting at best. I got a very small amount of fries that were Luke-warm. They couldn't even wrap the sub up right. I could see the sub through the wrapping paper in the bag when it was delivered to me. And finally, the delivery driver complained about the steps and couldn't walk all the way up, I had to meet him halfway. All was bad.

Best cheesesteak I've had since I can remember. Food was hot and fresh when I received it. Meat had food flavor. Cheese was melted perfectly. A little light on the mayo, but the rest was on point. Lettuce was fresh and not wilted. Onions were grilled well, not too limp, they were just right.The fries came in a small paper bag. Nice amount of fries, perfect temp for eating comfortably without burning your tongue. One of the young ladies behind the counter asked if I wanted salt and pepper on my fries. I don't do pepper so I'm glad she asked, a lot of places don't.I noticed a Hershey's Ice Cream sign when I was walking in. I was delighted to see they had a diverse selection of hand dipped flavors. I got a scoop of strawberry cheesecake and a scoop of banana pudding. Both were heavenly! Chunks of vanilla wafers in the ice cream that somehow didn't taste stale. A very pleasant surprise. I also remember blueberry cheesecake and oreo cookies and scream too.Everything was all so good, I ate in the parking lot. I even went in to ask for more ketchup and they gladly provided more. Workers were very nice, great customer service!The only drawbacks were 1- Their half sub is only 6 inches, not 8. Too small for my taste, so I opted for the whole sub which was 12 inches. I had some leftover so that was cool.2-Their regular closing time is at 8:30 PM. Wish they stayed open a little later. Guess that may be since they serve breakfast items too.They're about 15 mins from my house. I will have no problem passing all the other carryouts along the way, just to get to Linda's.

I love Linda's! I found out about Linda's Subs doing a Doordash order and a customer inside told me about their food. She said she never got anything bad from Linda's and recommended the cheesesteak for ~$6. I came back the next day and ordered a cheesesteaks and it was amazing! The customer service is also really nice they are super friendly and welcoming 10/10
