Lestardo's Crab House

Imprompt dinner suggested by the boyfriend by multiple people since we have been here in DE.I'm sad we haven't been here earlier, as Eugene at the bar was a great host taking care of our many needs for food and drinks. We started with a Long Island Flight with four different drinks of varying taste from sour to sweet to waking me up for the delicious food coming out next. We did a half and half snow crab and dungeness crab with fries soaked in garlic butter. Did we take a photo, nope we dove in too fast. The last order was the cream of crab soup which was flavorful, creamy and savory for us while the fish and chips changed up our palate but the winner in my boyfriend's book was the crab pretzel. Regardless we will be back for more!!

The food here is TO DIE FOR. We were between here and another place and I'm so glad we picked this spot. First off, excellent service. Our server, Krista, was so sweet and friendly and wow did the food come out fast. Secondly, everything was TERRIFIC. We started with the crab bisque and it was so tasty and well made. Everything was good but it was maaaaybe my favorite? Idk. Then, we had the crab cakes entree. Holy wow those crab cakes are perfect. They have some spices in them and just a wonderful, delectable flavor. As a side, we got the veggies and the corn on the cob, which made me super happy. They also offer drink flights - cocktail flights, beer flights, etc. I got the cocktail flight and it was fun to try the different kinds. Excellent spot - add it to your list.

Overall service was excellent. The food was subpar at best. Everything was so dry and salty. The service was great the food not so great.

If you want crabs don't walk run to this place! Their options for the different ways you want your crabs is awesome. The special in whole crabs to already sautéed to crab legs etc. Me and my partner always sit at the bar and the bartender is awesome cause he's so personable and friendly! The place is very rustic and old school it's very cool cause of all the Eagles decor which my partner loves! Highly recommend for dine in and take for crabs and other seafood!

I love it here! Of course it's a old crab house but don't be discouraged by that the crabs are good! I love the garlic crabs I get them at least 1 a week! The owner is the bomb!!! Always coming around to check on you and if you have any problems she gets it handled!!

If you know, you know. If you don't know, go find out. Food, spectacular. Be sure to ask about that days signature crab dip (changes frequently). This place has the best staff. Truly family (and some friends) owned and operated and you get taken care of. Know that the ticket times in the kitchen can sometimes be long on busy nights, but also know you're not getting microwaved food. Made fresh and the taste goes to show. Between the locals and the juke box this place is one of my all time favorites to hang out. Come hungry.

We chose to celebrate our soul sister's birthday here and we could not have chosen a better place for a crab lover!! First and foremost...Krista was amazing with food & drink suggestions and great customer service. Definitely cannot forget the boomerang lessonsWe tried the fried shrimp, wings, fries and the crab bisque all were very good. We also ordered the colossal and jumbo blue crabs and they did not disappoint!! All were nicely seasoned full of delicious sweet crab meat. Definitely returning and spreading the word!!

We absolutely love Lestardo's. Family owned local bar/seafood joint. No frills whatsoever. Husband wife and kids make up the staff, who can be seen running around slinging crabs and drinks.Their soups are epic as is their pasta dishes. The chili garlic crab sauce that you'll see all over their menu is so so good. Put it on everything. Down to earth and really awesome overall.

Best garlic crabs I've been coming here since I was 7 years old I'm now 50 food is delicious

Never tasted their menu.. nor watching staff work or cleanliness. I cannot offered anymore statements to our citizens. Look at other diners postings
