Lee Deli

This was our first time ordering from Lee Deli. We ordered the wonton soup, General Tso's chicken with an egg roll, and the spare rib tips. The wonton soup was awesome, as was the General Tso's. We had no complaints with either of those items. The egg roll was crispy and good, but had one shrimp in the entire roll. The spare rib tips tasted so good but the amount of fat and bone was a bit unexpected based on other times I've had rib tips, though they also tasted really good.If you order delivery and pay with credit card, please be aware of all the extra costs. It should have been around 20 bucks, but after all the fees it was 33 which I think is a bit excessive. Also after the fact I noticed that I was charged more at pick up than the app stated... Overall well definitely order from them again, but will do pick up with cash. The food was good hence the four stars but I'd say two for transaction and lack of clarity with cost.

I go to this particular carryout quite often because it's close to my job. The customer service is good and the ambiance is clean. Normally I go there for lunch and I love to get their fries and a half n half. The fries are always so hot, crispy, and seasoned. The half n half is so refreshing. I've had the chicken wings and steak cheese sandwiches which were good as well. I definitely recommend Lee Deli if you're ever in the Bladensburg area.

On Tuesday, December 24, we ordered $75 worth of food, which was delivered to us. Unfortunately, the order was incorrect. We immediately called the restaurant to inform them of the issue and offered to return the food. However, we were told not to bring it back because the restaurant was about to close. The manager assured us that we could come back another day to resolve the issue.Today, Saturday afternoon, we called to follow up based on that promise. After explaining the situation, the manager refused to honor his word, claiming he would lose too much money. We pointed out that we also suffered a loss because our food was not edible: the fried rice was burnt, the General Tso's chicken was overly soft, the combination fried rice and shrimp fried rice were incorrect, and the cheese rangoons were hard. All we wanted was for our order to be made correctly.Instead of resolving the issue, the manager hung up on us. After repeated attempts to call back, he finally answered, but only after we mentioned reporting the situation.If you're going to serve our community, you need to do better. Food wasn't fresh.. customer service was par didn't get my order correct. The place needs cleaning. Since ownership change this place has been 1 star. Save your money go elsewhere.
