Disclosure: I'm a big fan of Lebanese cuisine. This place hits all the right notes. LebTav has a good system in place so that an order can be filled fairly quick without sacrificing taste. I've not had anything here that could be categorized as so-so. All the Lebanese food that I've consumed has been nicely done and fresh, and I've been coming here for a few years.I didn't know that LebTav is actually an outgrowth of the Lebanese Taverna restaurant business. Those particular restaurants are found all about the DMV and are more formal in service and have larger menus. I should have figured out the connection given the acronym but was a bit slow on the uptake. My favorites at this spot include tabouleh, baba ghanoush, fries & garlic, chicken samosa, meat shawarma sandwich and lambwich. Generally, I get mine to go, but if I do sit and eat, it's usually for a short period of time. I just don't think you can go wrong here in terms of fast, casual.

It was pretty quiet as there were not many customers. The price and food were good. Four of us ordered a Lebanese Feast platter. It was a sampling of twelve mezza items, including falafel, lebneh, yogurt salad, baba ghanoush, stuffed grape leaves, tabouleh, etc. everything was fresh and decent. The portions were big, enough for all of us. We even had leftovers.

It might not have the full menu of a regular Lebanese Taverna, but what they do have is mighty tasty.

I enjoyed eating here the service was fast, and helpful. The food was good and I enjoyed the sauce bar they provided. The baklava they had available was decent. This definitely felt like a very casual place with a fast food leaning.

I like Lebtav for their beef shawarma rolls appetizer. The rest of their food is delicious too. However, the first time I ordered that from here was on Door Dash and I received a side of the lebneh, which I love! Since then, anytime I have order that item it is a fight to get the side of lebneh. I was there yesterday on the 5th of September, 2023 and once again was denied the lebneh. The head person I'm assuming came from the back and told me it was inside the roll, which I knew, but as a customer I wanted more on the side. Give it to me, charge me, whatever, but make one of your few customers happy please! The man finally said, "Hey, I'll give you a little lebneh this time." I thanked him and made sure the staff heard me thank him for pleasing his customer. I noticed that the staff had what looked like quiet, guilty looks on their faces when he got the "lebneh" from an area where even I knew they didn't keep it. It looked like plain yogurt and that's exactly what the hell it was! I'm never going there again because this man treated me like I was stupid! Furthermore, since I do the ordering for lunch at my place of work which is in the same area, we are NEVER spending money at this location again either! Like Min Z. said in their review, there is never a crowd in this restaurant. It is always pretty quiet and I honestly have checked several times to make sure they haven't closed due to lack of business because it's always so dead in there. Well, they're going to be even quieter now! Such a shame since the food is pretty good, but not always for the service.
