This place was okay.Come in with my son to order some food to go, place is empty except for the two staffers working there. We walk up and order, are told it will be 15 minutes, and then sit down to watch the telenovelas playing on the TV in the dining room. I look back in the kitchen, and they're clearly making a bunch of stuff from scratch, including something with cornmeal (maybe pupusas?). Anyway, about 20 minutes later we walk out with our food. The tacos were standard but yummy - al pastor, lengua, and carnitas. The pupusas were good (got queso and loroco), but I really wish they had given us more pickled cabbage to offset the greasiness. They have quesadillas tradicionales here, which I had never tried, but really enjoyed. They were like a gordita with a thick, soft, fried shell and the inside stuffed with cheese and other toppings if you like. The salsa verde they gave us was SUPER salty; I hope it was just that batch because it really ruined a good thing.Prices are okay and the service was slower than I thought (if I come back I'll call the order in ahead of time). The inside is festively Mexican. The front is clean and inviting though the back in and around the bathroom is a little dingy. An overall decent place.

This place is so delicious and such good prices. I didn't want to try it at first because we usually go to a great place down the road, but this place is so nice. The people who work here are very friendly! Paletas!

The quesadillas tradicionales are fantastic! Among the best food I've had, seriously. Seems like a family place and the folks who run it are super nice. My new favorite place in town. We'll be back!

We usually go to Los Primos in Laurel so I was excited when an authentic looking Mexican food restaurant opened close to where we live in Catonsville. Finally tried Las Lupitas today and was terribly disappointed. We ordered a carne asada quesadilla, al pastor tacos, and chicken sopes. The carne asada was fatty and tough almost to the point of being inedible. They only gave my husband three tacos when an order is supposed to come with four. My sopes were soggy and the chicken was fatty and tough. Everything was surprisingly bland also. Definitely would not eat here again.

Food and service was well! The people saying theres a lot of wait time doesn't realize that this is a family owned business. They have less staff but the food is 100% worth it. It reminds me of home!

People, don't be fooled, that food doesn't work. I ate there with my father and my son. A food that not even a dog will eat. Some hard black beans that they gave me and some chilaquiles that looked like bomito. And they charged me more than $60... I think they give themselves the 5 stars because I don't think anyone gives them.

The food was good, don't believe the bad reviews. But maybe don't go if you aren't too fond of spicy food.

We stumbled across this place and I'm so glad we did. It looks like a tiny hole in the wall. The food was made once we ordered so there's a bit of a wait, but it was sooooo worth it. I haven't had Mexican food this good since I was in Mexico. It puts Tex-Mex to shame. I recommend the quesadillas traditionales.
