Lamberts

This is a hidden but popular spot. Not exactly a speakeasy but I wouldn't have known it was here until someone told me. I came for happy hour, and even on a Thursday afternoon, parking was tight but eventually found a spot. I saw some folks parking on the street and walking in. Seems like this place has been around for awhile. You can tell the regulars. I wasn't hungry so I didn't get any food. I had a drink and trust me, that was all that was needed. They pour heavy! I definitely love a good hole in the wall and this is just that. No need to get fancy in here. Come as you are! I would come back for a strong drink and chill vibes.

Great experience at Lamberts after a really long hiatus. Lamberts is a most certainly a staple in the Lanham/Glen Dale area...I remember as a kid I could never go to the back area but man I'm grown now and it's exactly what I pictured lol. Came for happy hour and I will say they did not disappoint. I opted for the $4 burger and although not five guys...it was most certainly better than expected. This is most certainly a neighborhood connection and that's what makes it great. Everyone is super friendly and the vibes are indeed positive. Bar area is someone tight so get there early with your crew and enjoy the stiff drinks and positivity.

The ONLY reason you come here, is for drinks. That is it, that is all. The food available is mid-grade at its best, but... when you get 2-3 drinks in, I guess others don't mind? I'm not sure, but no thank you.If I'm looking for food to soak up the heavy drinks that they do indeed provide, please - get food from another spot.

This was my first time at this establishment. I was a bit concerned within the first couple of minutes due to some service elements and the timeframe in which it took us to be greeted. The ambiance wasn't the greatest. The place was recommended to my friend & I due to the reviews of having great food. Sadly, we were not able to experience any food from the menu. By the time we were greeted with service (and given 1 menu to share) we just ordered drinks to decompress and think about food. During what I would estimate about a 45 minute visit, no one came back to check-in, follow-up or take food ordering. In fact, during this time, the Chef came to make an announcement about it being last call in the kitchen. We asked for the check and decided not to stay. Between requesting the check and finally paying, that too was another additional 12-15 minutes added to the wait time. Concluding our visit the bartender came to say goodbye but this was the second time during our full visit that we saw her. She was shocked when we told her briefly that all we had to "eat" was the Gin & Tonic. I enjoyed the music but I don't think I'll be returning.

Consistency is the word when l think of Lamberts they have a limited menu, which allows them to shine on what they do serve. Try any of the crab soups. As good as any fine dining place for a fraction of the cost. Yea they can be a little slow but worth the wait. They have two bars, one at the back and a second at the front mostly for groups. Always clean. What more can l say!

This place is a hidden gem. You really would pass right by it but don't. You want Great food, great bartender, reasonable prices. Fun atmosphere. Then this is the place. Don't miss it.

Always a good time at Lambert's. But know that you may be waiting a while for your drink and to order your food. However, the atmosphere is vibrant and the people are nice and the food... Delicious every time. I was sad that they didn't have the chicken salad that I wanted but the burger did its justice as did the grilled wings and oyster rock

Just got home from dinner at Lamberts. This is a true neighborhood bar. If you're looking for ambiance to hang with your friends and have some drinks, it's a good choice. No frills, incredibly slow service, but they have TVs and a good buzz. There were very few prices on the menu with most things saying "$MP" (market price).The dining room is not open, so only the bar or carry out. We arrived around 5pm on a Saturday evening and seated ourselves. Getting one of the 2 bartenders attention was tough, but we ordered nachos, mac n cheese bites, hush puppies and their bipartisan soup for $9 (half cream of crab, half maryland crab). Generally speaking, it all falls under bar food and everything was good enough to have another bite. A glass of red 19 crimes wine was $8, a pint of bud light was $3.75, and a marg was $9.50. Would I go back? Sure but no need to sprint back.There is plenty of parking around the building if not right in front.

This spot definitely falls into the "neighborhood gem" category. It gives off a charming mix of speakeasy / Cheers vibe. A popular destination, despite being somewhat hidden. One thing to note, you might need to be a bit assertive at the bar, as the regulars seem to take priority with the servers. Overall, it's a cozy place with a great local atmosphere!

Went here because I was looking for a bar to watch football. The bartenders were very friendly and also good looking. Lol. They made sure I had top notch service. Plenty of TV screens and seating at the bar. However the food wasn't all that good. Now all I got was wings and potato skins, but they lacked flavor and the wings were not fried hard enough, but it's specialty is seafood, so I won't be too hard on them. Also, it's very difficult trying to exit the lot. People are flying down Lanham Severn road, but I will be back to try the seafood.
