This place could be more stars except for a couple of things.Their prices are about 15% too high for the neighborhood. The menu screens are set in a constant rotating loop, but the software is set too fast so you can't read it in time before the screens flip. I heard another customer complaining about it and was helping her out some.Next, they are not good at all with handling more than one customer at a time. Where a place like McDonald's could have a family of five all prepped, paid, and handed over in two minutes, it will take 12-15 minutes to be served here for the same size party. There's more I could say here, but it would come across poorly.Lastly, their customer service is poor. When you walk in the door, expect to be ignored. The bell will ring, but I've had it where they give a passing glance and go to the back room, come back, make several trips as if they're still preparing for service even after they've opened. If they're handling other customers, they won't look at you or address you at all. Every single time I've come, line or no, I've had to wait anywhere from one minute to 8 minutes to even be addressed. I've come here half a dozen times or more since they've opened, but no more. In such a mediocre location with businesses constantly opening and closing, this place will have to work harder to maintain their customer base.

Tucked in here the other day, before they were listed on Yelp, thinking a milkshake would hit the spot. The tiny space was way more crowded than I expected. Scoops was an ice cream shop, two storefronts away, and never had any customers. I wasn't prepared to feel like a sardine in a can.The shop is set up like Baskin Robbins. Ice cream cooler taking up half the room, a couple of tables against the wall. There's barely enough room for people to walk between the two, so it gets tight when people want to look at the ice cream while others are trying to leave, etc. I felt in the way the entire time and almost instantly regretted coming inside.Since I'm too short to see inside the ice cream cooler, I had to rely on a laminated menu to tell me the flavors. Then we waited, and waited, for someone to seem even remotely interested in serving us. One guy behind the counter actually started to take my boyfriend's order and then just walked away to wait on someone else.Of course they didn't have the flavor I wanted, and after that kind of service with the crush of people around me, I decided against that milkshake. My boyfriend ordered a cotton candy one. TEN DOLLARS for ONE milkshake. You know that scene in Pulp Fiction where Travolta and Thurman are at Jack Rabbit Slim's and she orders the "five dollar shake" and Travolta is agast because it doesn't have any alcohol in it? Like that, but without the fun 50s diner setting. It wasn't even more than average. It was so small and so expensive, and we'll never go back. They also sell cup of noodle with corn, Takis with salsa, and other combinations of foods that you can get down the block at Family Dollar for... well, a couple of dollars.... that is if you want to take the chance you won't get shot. There were two shootings down that end of shipping place around the beginning of the year.Do not recommend

Items are good, but don't go unless you plan to wait a long time to be served. It seems to take 5 to 10 minutes per person in line to get their ice cream. This is really the only turn off that causes us to go other places.Prices are also way too high for the area. I was baffled that you could buy a tub of their ice cream cream for $31. You could buy the same thing at the store for 10 to 12 and it's not like they make their own ice cream.Atmosphere is nice, I just can't get past how long it takes to get served.
