La Fonda Paisa

I saw this place while driving to somewhere else to eat. I am Colombian and was excited to try this place. In short, this place preys onnyour nostalgia. My food was greasy and overpriced. If I want to eat out for Colombian food I will wait to visit Miami.

Needs better customer service and honor your prices that you display I felt taken advantage of.

The old patacones taste terrible, the worst bandeja paisa, the Lengua with out taste. The maracuyá watery far from the original taste . Overprice , small portion and terrible experience . I would never go back again .

The food was delivered pretty fast on Uber eats. The steak in the sandwich was well seasoned and flavorful. The arepa was also filling but a bit greasy.

The food was generally pretty decent. The empanadas were excellent and very comparable to what you will find in queens, NY. You can tell that everything else was sitting out for a while and flavors were fairly muted. If it were fresh and properly seasoned, it would've been great. The lulada and maracuya drinks were great. Again, just order the empanadas and drinks, forget the rest or go there whenever the food is fresh.

Horrifyingly bad. I've had real colombian food and was so disgusted by this utter mess. I see that they correct a critical health violation on the Montgomery county health department's dataset, but it appears they're back to their old tricks.I try to frequent local businesses but am reminded why boring big corporate fast food is comforting.I don't have to worry that there will be stringy hard piece of MOLDY beef in my sandwich or ROCK HARD desserts.They should be deeply ashamed of how disgusting their restaurant is.

This place is authentic and has a variety of prepackaged and made to order options. Their empanadas are the BEST I have ever had. And their chicken/potato soup is the best when you're not feeling well. The workers are always friendly and entertain me trying to order in Spanish. The dining area is small but cozy.

I don't know if this place has a new owner or they just got greedy but agree with all others complaining about the horrible service. We had stopped ordering months ago because they raised their prices so much but today we wanted bandeja. As always they charged up front ($25 each), did not let us know until we got there that there is no chicharon, they did not discounted for that, they did not add anything else for that either, they simply charge the full amount for an incomplete meal. Not the first time, in the past, they have not given us beans. Tried to speak to someone else to get something instead, made up the excuse that the manager was not in. How is this acceptable!?Now we wont be coming back, too bad they have ruin the good thing they had going.

The food is mid. Doesn't compare to authentic Colombian eats. Service is horrible.. they take 15 minutes to serve you food that's already sitting there, buffet style... just unreasonably slow. You have to pay beforehand when you call in for a pick up order, so if you're not ok with giving your credit card information over the phone, then you can't phone in an order ahead of time. Ambiance of the establishment is half restaurant half convenience store. You have people grocery shopping as you're eating 10 ft away.Would not return.

Soooo yummy! Authentic Colombian food and Colombian grocery store! Super small location and gets packed! Gets very hot inside and parking can get difficult so very worth it!
