La Estancia

So, I checked out La Estancia for lunch last Saturday. My dad had seen a few Facebook posts hyping up this spot, so we decided to see what all the fuss was about. I went ahead and ordered the Birria tacos and a Birria torta.Let's talk about the tacos first. They were a bit pricey, $17 for just three tacos, but man, were they good! They came with this amazing consome, which really kicked up the flavor. Each bite was packed with deliciousness.Now onto the Birria torta - this thing was next level! Stuffed with avocado and soaked in that same consome, it was a flavor explosion. Seriously, that consome took it to a whole new level of deliciousness.Service was quick and efficient. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and they had a ton of options on the menu. I'm definitely coming back to try out some of their other dishes!In short, La Estancia is definitely worth a visit if you're craving some tasty Mexican food. Just be prepared to shell out a bit more for those delicious Birria tacos!

The restaurant looks very nice! I ordered two pupusas (Beans and cheese) tasted good!

Whenever I come here I get tacos de birria and I'm always pleased with my order. Today it took about 20 mins for my food to be ready and almost half as long for me to eat most of my tacos once I got home. The order comes with three tacos, which are full of beef, and the consomé is full of flavor.

I really wanted to give this place five stars but unfortunately that's not happening. I ordered two things I ordered pupusas revueltas, tacos de carne asada y tacos de lengua.tacos de carne asada y tacos de lenguathe reason why I'm giving it two stars isn't because of the food per se but let's get to it.The onions and cilantro on the tacos, looked and tasted old. They didn't look like they were fresh. If you cut onions before and then put them in the refrigerator, you know exactly what I mean. Secondly, the. Tacos de lengua we're not only cut to big, but they didn't necessarily clean them properly (if you have ever prepared Cal tongue, you absolutely understand what I'm saying)The pupusa's were serviceable, but overall all the food needed a little bit of salt. Did I mention that the green hot sauce look and tasted old. It seems like these guys prepare for an extensive amount of time weeks, per se, and let things sit. We will see how I feel in 24 hours.I think the icing on the cake is when my food was brought out in paper plates. That left a sour taste in my mouth because if I'm paying to sit down at a restaurant, I would at the very minimum expect a tray or a plate like you would, at any of these other restaurants.I think I put it all together since I close this place down and I left at 9:10 PM and the cashier along with the Koch left at 9:12 PM. Something about that doesn't sit right with me.At the end of the day, it feels like the food that is made here is made with no love. It is quite serviceable as in you will eat. It will get full and go home, but you can definitely tell that no one is putting their foot in this food, unfortunately

The location is much to be desired and the decorations are definitely an afterthought. The music is a bit loud for it's size. The food was hot but lacked salt and seasoning for the pico de gallo and beans. The service was good but minimal since you have to order your food and pay before it's served. Paying by card has an extra charge. Tastes like food truck food and not in a good way versus restaurant food.

This place use to be alot better . I got the nachos today and they didn't taste anywhere near as good as they use to . The guacamole looked and tastes pretty old .I will attach a oic so you guys can see . If that wasnt bad enough I ordered a inca cola and I pooped the top off and it smelled like poo ... I drink these sodas alot so I know what its suppose to smell/ taste like . I told them about the smell of the soda and they said they know it stinks but they dont know why and they is nothin they could do . They would not replace the soda for me or give me a refund so i just left it there and walked out . I didnt want to make a big scene over a soda . I just figured I would write a review to let ppl know and hopefully management see's this review and it stops this type of stuff from happening to someone else in the future . You guys Definitely have to Do better !

i ordered my food at 2:15. I ordered tacos and a chicken sandwich. They guy at counter, tols me it would be 15 minutes. We didn't get the food till 2:55. During our 40 minute wait, 5 people came up in after us and got their food. 3 of which were the exact same item I ordered. They were very attentive to the Latino customers. Me and my fam aren't Latino. And I can't prove we treated differently because we weren't, but it damn sure seem that way. After 30 mins I complained. And you he guy at counter just looked at me stupid. After 40 mins, I complained and he told me "sorry we are busy". I told him that other people came in after me and got the Same item I was waiting to be cooked. He looked at me, slid me my food and gave me a "so what" kinda look. Then to top it of, I get home and their is two hairs in my food. Not sure if this is acceptable in the Latino community, but this has been a terrible experience.

Pizza Birria is really delicious! I had this pizza with my family for dinner and we all really enjoyed it, it was delicious!

In my honest opinion, I think some of the food there is great like their tostadas but their soup it's just not it, they over cooked the soup or something, but the taste it's horrible, I try eating it but I couldn't take it so I would say save your money in this one.
