Food is truly authentic! I would definitely say that prices can be a little pricey but I do understand given the fact that it is truly authentic tacos.I constantly get the carne asada and they never fail, definitely a nice spot to get some tacos :).

The food here is amazing! I read through the other reviews and folks are right... it's delicious!We ordered two different options for take out and I can't decide which was better. The portion sizes are plentiful so the take out and leftovers were great! The Chilaquiles with chicken were still good the next day too. I could have the al pastor cemita over and over again. On top of all that, the staff was great. Very friendly and provided great service.

Being a gringa I can't reliably say if the foot is truly authentic, although the 1st language spoken by 80% of the diners suggests it is. I can reliably say it's delicious. The birria tacos are their signature & are amazing. And the al pastor, lengua & carnitas are fantastic as well. Tres leches for desert, a Mexican Coke or one of the agua frescas to drink & you will not leave unhappy or hungry. Don't be intimidated if you don't speak a lick of Spanish, the staff are fluent in both.

Truely a hole in the wall, authentic, mom&pop Mexican restaurant. Have to agree with some of the other reviews that it is a bit intimidating walking in - there's a juice shop in the front of the store, most of the menu items on the board is in Spanish, and you can see all the staff busy in the kitchen (there's no separation between the dining area and kitchen)... and yet no one comes to greet you. My friend and I sat ourselves and after awhile someone will come by - the staff is super friendly no doubt - I just think the expectation is a little different.But the food - wow. True and true felt like home meals (or as close as I could imagine them to be). The place doesn't have the comfort and ambiance of Clavel (just about my favorite taco place in Baltimore), but if I were to pick based on food/authenticity alone, I'd honestly probably pick this place.

This little place surprised me! I work at Bayview and I was craving Latin food. I decided to check this little hole in the wall and do not regret it. Do not be fooled by the unfortunate facade of this place. The inside is nothing fancy either, but the place is kept clean and the food did not disappoint at all. I ordered a "Cantaloupe agua fresca" and it was so fresh! The chorizo and pastor tacos hit the spot! I had 2 other dishes and was overly satisfied. The spicy sauces were delicious. This is definitely a real Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, I stuffed my face so much I didn't make it to the dessert menu. I will definitely go back. The customer service was also great! They were friendly and attentive. I would have given this a 5 stars if the locale wasMore updated and not so intimidating, but these are the types of places that work hard on their service.

Doesn't look like much when you walk by but they are the real deal authentic Mexican food. Lots of options great prices!

Their food is amazing. Yvonne is always ready to help explain the stuff we don't understand and helps when we want to deviate from our standard requests which is great as they have no written menu. This is the kind of place that you have to be "in the know" to eat here and find it. I hesitate to review La China Poblaba because it's going to take off. It's that great.

Truly authentic hole in the wall joint just as I like them...how places like plaza Azteca exist when this is available dumbfounds me!!!

Goated chorizo tacos. Best in Baltimore, hands down. Watch out for the non itemized receipts though ;-)
