I was so excited when I drove past and saw it was a pupseria I had not been to! I came back with my homegirl to try. If you don't know, it's extremely hard to get chicken and cheese pupusas so when I seen they had them on their menu, that was definitely what I was going to order. When we went there on Saturday, they also had a shrimp and cheese special that I decided to try along with their traditional El Salvadorian chicken tamale.The shrimp and cheese pupusa was good and I appreciateed the different bold flavors. The chicken and cheese pupusa disappointed me though. The chicken was very. They used a higher quality cut of meat, the chicken breast but it's very drying. Please give me thigh meat. It was difficult to chew that I had to save one for another day.I also tried their horchata which was a decent drink but nothing spectacular. I don't know if I would return because one of my favorites is the chicken and cheese pupusa and that definitely made me sad. Additionally, the cortido was not spicy at all. I know people make it differently but I'm used to the cortido having some jalapeno in it and it did not. I'm never a fan of that red sauce you're supposed to mix the cortido with but I tried it anyway and yeah, still not a fan LOL. This is not their fault though.I had high hopes. My creme went with the carne asada tacos and said they weren't anything to write home about

We got chicken, shrimp and steak tacos as well as a chicken and cheese pupusa. To end it all we got a tres leches cake and a topo Chico they were both phenomenal. The pupusa was great actually the best pupusa I have ever had I even shared it with 2 other people and they went the next day to buy a few. They are actually that good. I didn't like the tacos they were on like the pupusa dough so it was too thick and the taco fell apart as soon as you tried to eat it. Sadly one of the tacos the chicken tasted a little off to me so I wasn't too happy about that but the steak and shrimp were seasoned very well. The slaw was also perfect ! Service please note everything made to order so that your food will come out HOT not warm but HOT you can even see them cooking it for you. Service was great the resturant was beautiful and clean. I would 100% advise every and anyone who love and who hates pupusas to get these amazing pupusas.

La Casita just opened up this location in laurel. It's much bigger than the location in Silver Spring. Our table ordered horchata, Sopa de res (beef soup), Sopa de pollo (chicken soup) and mix pupusas. All the food was delicious. My only comment about the food is they need to give you more cabbage for the pupusas. All the employees were very friendly and attentive. Definitely will be back soon.

This place isn't just a picturesque spot for family and friends It's also a delicious one! I tried the pupusa de queso, and it was amazing. The sauce and repollo really elevated the dish to another level. The tamarindo was perfectly balanced, not too sweet like some places can make it. They also have pastries up front that look incredible , and I'm already looking forward to trying them on my next visit. I genuinely loved my experience here and can't wait to come back! Venimos por empanadas de plátano nuegados y unas pupusas, número 1 las pupusas no tienen sabor. Número dos los pasteles de plátano y los nuegados nunca los hicieron Tocó pedir el reembolso por eso, pésimo servicio definitivamente un lugar que jamás volveré!!!

I saw rats running past the kitchen. 1/10 disgusting facility and terrible customer service.
