The food is good and the service is good also the ambiance is great. Crabs are delicious and huge.

I have visited this place many times over the past few years...Its not in a bad location and the folks hanging outside might detour folks from entering. But I have NEVER had any issues nor heard about anything going down here.Its a bar/liqour/seafood spot and for watever reason they also sell a few household items (never seen anyone purchase any...but hey you never know)! I mainly come for the maryland crabs, but they also have pretty good steamed crab legs and shrimp. Along with hamburgers...subs...etcToday I had a taste for some crabs...and like usual they never let me down.The males were small 20, medium 30, large 40 and jumbo 50. I wasn' that hungry...just wanted a lil taste so I opted for 1/2 dozen of the jumbo males.They are huge...tasty!!! And also for the record I have NEVER had 1 overcooked crab!!! They also sell a pretty good seafood sauce for about $2 and have free paper.So if in the area,stop in and give them a try!! FYI - they NEVER answer the phone...which is why I said stop in...lol

Update: Ok gotta be real.... Besides all the other things I mentioned previously, the despicable trash stench is horrible. The legs have been small for quite a while now and prices are up there. All of these years we've been patronizing, we'll have to pass.

Update: crabs were ok, will still make crab line my go to place, it's really good.This used to be my go to crab spot when I lived near Naylor rd in DC. It changed and it was not good. Came today 8/22/18 got the special 2 dz reg males for $40 and an order of hush puppies, oils t wait to get home to try those and they are good with corn inside and they give u butter to dip them in. The Spanish guys running the place are nice and great customer service. They showed me all the sizes and even tho the reg mails are small they assured me they were heavy.Small little bar if u want a drink while u wait, they were playing Sade so all good.

This is the most hilarious shady looking place ever, but I love it. Ordered some chicken wings and got real wings. I mean we got the whole chicken arm. It was an experience we all need in our lives. You can also get your lottery tickets, liquor, and swisher sweets while you wait. I hope my friend moves back to the apartments right by there so we can go more often.UPDATE 9/19/18: MY FRIEND MOVED BACK THERE. H*LL YES!

Disappointed.Used to be my go to crab spot and to be honest i like the spanish guys better than the previous owners off the customer service alone.Unfortunately my last 3 visits were a bust. I ordered a dozen large males only to receive the lightest crabs ever. Out of a dozen i always wind up throwing atleast 3-4 away because theyre bad. Is this my fault for buying crabs from a spot that smells like the dirtiest ocean...probably so but its close to my home and i can never find parking at the wharf (bring the old wharf back).My last visit i waited 30 minutes for my crabs.... what's taking so long i wonder as i sat there with my number visibly showing on the table. So i ask...is #22 ready???Yes theyve been sitting right here...we called ur number...really? I was literally the only person sitting there and i heard nothing...Y??? Because of the loud tail music playing n loud conversations from the heads(the nice ones) at the bar. So now i go home with cold crabs...smh.I cant wait till Feb/March when Crabline reopens. It never stinks in there.

I bought one dozen only received 11 and phone number doesn't work doesn't smell ok. For 47$ you expect a lot more. Never again!!!!!

This is one of my favorite spots to get seafood from besides the Wharf. I'm in love with their special sauce it goes great with the shrimp and crabs!! Plus you can grab a drink watch a little bit of the games if you need to occupy your time!! #crabcravings

We've gone for crabs several times and they have been delicious every time. This place is about 20 minutes from home but worth it!

A horrible experience. I normally go to another Crab House but they did not have jumbo males. I wanted crab so badly that I went to Crab Cafe Naylor Road, and this is what I end up receiving. I paid $37 for a half a dozen of male jumbo crabs they we're not even worth $0.01. I tried to reach them by telephone--a voicemail comes on to say the voice mailbox you are trying to reach is not in service and then it hangs up. Needless to say I will not be going back!
