The place is bright and has soft music playing. They take reservations. We were given a choice between a booth and a table, we chose a booth. We had appetizers by spring roll and chicken pot stickers. Unfortunately they don't have wfh rolls but I have only found one Asian place that does now. They were delish. We also ordered the eggplant loves string beans, chicken moo shu, and pineapple fried rice. All was excellent. All food came out hot. We will be back!

Been going here for years! We usually celebrate anything and everything including New Year's Eve traditionally. The service here is excellent! They do not waste any time and are quick with cooking and bringing out the dishes! Since we've been going here, the quality of the food is consistent and amazing! My favorites are the salt pepper squid, walnut shrimp, garlic cucumber and the sweet and sour pork in scoop. Can't beat the portions and prices either. The best part is that this restaurant is great for hosting large parties and not to mention it is BYOB! It also sits in a small business park so parking is never an issue if you have ones that need and accommodations with distance. If you're craving some good Chinese food with good quality, check out this place !

KungFu 12 Szechuan Restaurant in Towson, MD, has become a staple for me over the years, whether I'm dining with a large group or enjoying a quiet date night. This restaurant consistently impresses with both the quality of its food and the excellent service. A major perk is that it's BYOB with no corkage fees, allowing you to bring your favorite wine or beer to enjoy with your meal--something not every restaurant offers. The restaurant's spacious dining room features a mix of table and booth seating, and the tables can be rearranged to accommodate large groups--up to 20+ diners--making it a great choice for gatherings. The menu offers a fantastic mix of American Chinese staples like General Tso's chicken and beef with broccoli, but the real star is the selection of traditional Szechuan dishes, which provide an authentic and bold flavor experience. Some of the must-tries at KungFu include their mapo tofu, which is perfectly balanced with numbing spice, and the chilled cucumber salad, which is absolutely addictive. The Peking Duck is another crowd favorite, served with all the traditional fixings. For those craving American Chinese comfort food, don't miss the hot and sour soup, which is a standout, and the honey walnut shrimp, featuring jumbo shrimp perfectly fried and piled high with a delicious sauce. If you're looking for a great value, the lunch specials are also a hit. For around $15, you get a soup, a main course, and rice--an excellent deal for the quality of food.Overall, KungFu 12 is undoubtedly the best Chinese food in Towson. Whether you're grabbing takeout, enjoying a cozy table for two, or hosting a large group, this spot has everything you need for a satisfying meal. Highly recommended!

I've come here to pick up Uber eats orders and it's always super busy. So I told myself I needed to come back to try it for myself. I ended up out here on an errand and took the opportunity to give it a go and I was not disappointed. I was seated immediately and given a menu. As soon as I ordered my dumplings, they appeared lol; the service was SO quick. My main came out just as fast and piping hot.

Kicked off 2025 in style at this spot, and wow, what a way to celebrate! The vibe was classic Chinese restaurant chaos--lively, bustling, and full of energy--but the service? So warm and welcoming. The menu delivered the best of both worlds: your favorite Chinese-American comfort dishes plus some legit authentic Chinese options. But let me tell you, the star of the show? The hot pot. Seriously, 100/10--don't miss it!

About a 1-1.5: I'm sorry, KF 12, but I just wasn't a fan. This newer eatery serves house specialties, noodles/wonton/rice entrees, various apps, and daily lunch specials. We came here for a later lunch, and we tried the following: Shredded Pork with Spicy Garlic Sauce (with pork, carrots, and black fungus; this had a tangy taste to it, definitely a lot of garlic, but I couldn't get over the weird soft texture of the shredded pork); the Kung Pao Chicken (with chicken, peanuts, and peppers; I enjoyed the abundance of the raw peanuts, but I wasn't a fan of the sauce; the chicken seemed gelatinous and not crispy, and mushy); and, the Stirred Chongqing Hot Pepper Noodle (hot sauce, onions, vegetables, peanuts, and noodles; this was probably one of the worst noodle dishes we've had, as the noodles were gummy and overcooked, and the spicy chili sauce at the bottom of the bowl was watered down and did not have any flavor).Another thing that I noticed were that the utensils and the cups were not clean - it had old food bits and stains, so it was pretty gross. Even the replacement items were still not cleaned well.Glad I was able to try this place out, but won't return!+dirty utensils/mugs+noodles are gummy/overcooked+weird textured pork+plenty of parking

We had a wonderful New Year's feast!!! This was one of the restaurants that got us through the pandemic. We ordered takeout several times throughout the pandemic, but this was our first time actually eating in the restaurant. Let me tell you, they definitely did not disappoint. The food is absolutely delicious. Fresh, homemade and tasty. If you love Chinese food, this is the place for you!

Our friends have heard us talk about how much we enjoyed going to Kung Fu 12 and wanted to go with us. Last night, we made a reservation for 6:30 PM. They had a table ready and waiting for us. The restaurant is so much nicer than the former restaurant that was the previous occupant of the space - open - bright - clean - welcoming. We were so pleased to see several Chinese enjoying meals together. Our friends ordered the General Tso's Chicken and the Beef with Broccoli. My husband and I had the Sesame Chicken and the Shrimp Chow Fun. The dishes were served with white rice. The food arrived piping hot, and the portions are enormous - always enough to take home for another meal. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. BYOB with no corkage fee is always a plus for us!

I decided to visit here after getting some gas across the street around 11:30am. They just opened so it wasn't crowded at all. The host was nice and he seated me right away. The dining room is pretty basic, nothing fancy. I ordered the egg drop soup and lunch portion of general tso's chicken. The egg drop soup had some spice to it. I was looking around for soy sauce because none was at my table. None was at any other tables either. I didn't really want the soup anyway so I just put it to the side. I was disappointed with my meal. The spring roll was crunchy on the outside but soooo mushy on the inside. The chicken didn't really have any crispiness to it, slightly soggy. Also there was barely any sauce to go with the chicken and it was thicker than what I'm use to so I couldn't really eat it with the rice like I wanted. The taste of the sauce was spicy but I've definitely tasted better.I would not try this place again.
