Krazi Chick

I have had their wings and chicken sandwiches on various occasions... the most notable one being when I took the wings to a Super Bowl party and everybody was raving about every single flavor. I mixed up both mild and spicy options. More often though, I get the chicken sandwich -- if I am going to have one, of course I'll support a small local biz rather than a fast food joint. If you don't already know, this is part of a virtual kitchen called Virtual X Kitchen, and they offer several other concepts as well. Previously, you could only order online through their site or app -- but now you can order in person on a tablet! But you will have to wait around... there's an arcade cabinet you can play.Anyways, I love their chicken wings and their chicken sandwiches. And it's such a win that they have plant-based wings too, and they give a disclaimer about which sauces aren't vegan. I love the sweet red chili, mango habanero, tikka masala, and tandoori wings. And be sure you try the Masala Chick sandwich.

Hidden gem alert!! Krazi, it is that this place only has 1 review! Featuring 5 ghost kitchen restaurants in one location, Krazi Chick is my favorite wing spot, period. The flavor profiles are so good; none of the sauces I have tried taste store-bought, and they offer 99-cent wings!!Service is fast and friendly. As I mentioned before, there are 5 different kitchens in one spot, and you can easily order from each kitchen in the same order, perfect for those days when you can't decide or want a little bit of everything, lol My favorite items so far have been the Tikka Masala Wings and the mango lassi; both are flavor explosions for different reasons.

Dang, like always, I wanted to like the place. To be fair, I had the food delivered. I didn't go to the establishment, so I gave 1 added a star for what may have been good customer service. My issue was the food alone. The fries were expensive and I received a very small portion. I ordered two different flavors of chicken and I just couldn't eat them. They were tough and seemingly undercooked. Perhaps, I should have said to get them hard. They were that tough rubbery texture. I thought about taking them home and air frying, but I didn't trust the process. I won't be ordering again.

First of all, this is not a restaurant where you will sit down and eat your meal. It is a ghost kitchen concept. This evening, my son and I decided to try and don't be fooled by the location. You are going the right way when you plug it into your navigation system. Since it was our first time, we did not think about ordering ahead, but everything is cooked to order, so the chicken comes out nice and hot. And as others have reviewed, it is extremely crunchy chicken much better than what you would get at local fast food fried chicken places. Their cornbread also was very delicious outside. They do have a couple picnic tables where you can set if the weather allows to eat your food if you don't want to take it home and have it nice and hot and fresh. The staff was extremely friendly and since we had to wait, so lots of delivery people in locals come in that's a testament to the quality of their food. It's not a place when you're driving down route one you will see this is a destination if you know, you know, definitely recommend to anybody in the College Park Greenbelt area

Came in to Krazi Chick for lunch, and I must say, their chicken sandwich was a delightful experience. The chicken fillet was generously portioned, and the mayo complemented the sandwich perfectly. I'm eager to explore more of their menu in the future. P.S. Service is always quick @ this virtual kitchen!

I purchased a 5-piece mixed fried chicken today (August 15, 2024). Based on the reviews, I was excited to try it. I ordered through Grubhub; so, I don't have any comments regarding the service or ambiance. The chicken had WAY TOO much breading. The seasoning was decent and the chicken was moist. That said, I only managed to eat I breast. There was a funny taste as if the chicken sat in vinegar too long or something. I think this business has a lot of promise if they make a few adjustments to the recipe. For now, I can only give it two stars.
