This spot's noodles were highly touted and rightfully so. These are among the best noodles I've had in my life. I've been three times and the noodles are consistently the highlight. On one occasion my proteins were dry which is why it's "only" four stars but it's looking like that was an isolated incident. The service was exceptional. The lady at the counter and her little girl were adorable together as they took my order. I don't know if it's a ploy to get a bigger tip out of me but it worked. I'd highly recommend visiting Kokoyami when you're in the Windsor Mill/ Catonsville area.

Meals were very delicious and we enjoyed very much. The seating space was uncomfortable. This place is more of carry out rather than sit in. If you want to take your lady out dating, this place is not the right place. Just grab meals and go.

My family and I stopped in Kokoyami for a meal after exercising. It's a new restaurant in the area and we wanted to give it a try since it changed from Bonsai to Kokoyami. We like to enjoy a meal of take out one occasion and this presented a good opportunity to try something new to the neighborhood. We got steak and shrimp. Hibachi, steak hibachi, volcano rolls sushi and the hottest hot wings they have. The wings were specifically for me. I really really like wings. I really like these wings a lot, they were styled like Korean, barbecue wings as in they had an almost tempura styled breading but it wasn't too heavy. Not too light. It was just right. They were spicy like I like them and had a very good flavor. I'll certainly buy these again. The steak and shrimp hibachi was for my wife. She enjoyed that a lot. She shared with me and I thought it was very very good. The final hibachi which was just steak was for my children which they also shared because I just had the wings and they enjoyed that as well. Lastly, the volcano roll it was new to us but good as well. I don't have any bad things to say about this place at this time. We will definitely be back again. We enjoyed our food, the service was great. The cashier was very kind and attentive to my request and questions about what I should order to satisfy our family. Pricing pricing was typical, especially for the amount of food that we got. The hibachis were more than enough for any one person and we probably could have gotten away with just buying one and sharing it between the four of us with the wings and the sushi. All of the hibachis came with a garden salad and miso soup. So with all that included, although the price came out to about $76, I think the price was fair given the amount of food that we got and the quality and taste of the food. The ambiance in the restaurant reminds me of a strictly take out restaurant but they do have a few seats for dining and a bar for high chaired dining as well. We'll be going back!

I love this place! It's a little hidden gem on Rolling Road f/k/a Bonsai Grill but when you find it, you'll be glad you did. The food is always delicious, tasty, fresh & made to order. The sushi never disappoints. My personal favorite is the Bonsai roll. I also love their veggie lo-mein or fried rice.. the garlic soy wings.. literally everything I've tried has been super good! A must try!

I love there Noodles!! When did they change the Name? Do they have New Owners??? I see that they have some "New" items on the Menu, I'm going to have to check them out again because everything that I've ever gotten there was "Real Good"!!!!
