Strawberry Cheesecake DonutGood cheesecake filling, with a hint of strawberry. Again not bold flavors, I wasn't a a fan that the donut had been previously refrigerated making the bread molecules less soft and less fresh tasting. Same issue I had the first time I visited. Maple bacon donutSprinkled with bacon, could've used a tad more bacon. The frosting was rubbed off a bit when the person grabbed it to box the donut. Good maple flavor in the glaze. I wasn't a a fan that the donut had been previously refrigerated making the bread molecules less soft and less fresh tasting. Same issue I had the first time I visited. Gingerbread LatteMild in gingerbread flavor, I expected it to be a bolder representation with ginger being in the forefront. The coffee itself was bitter which means they are getting subpar cherries not optimally harvested. Just an okay rendition. So far the best drink was the smoked Chai Latte that I had last time. This time around was just okay. It didn't feed my soul, maybe if feeds yours?

Kneads is conveniently located in the Canton Crossing shopping center along Boston Street, with an abundance of free parking. Upon entry, you're greeted with the aroma of fresh baked goodies. The line was expectedly long, but moving fast. After perusing the menu, I decided on just two doughnuts to satisfy my sweet tooth - one cinnamon sugar and one maple bacon - accompanied by a chai pistachio latte. Within minutes, my order was ready and I delved into bliss. Doughnuts were soft and fresh; the latte was piping hot. I was not disappointed. Definitely add Kneads to your list if you're in the area.

I'd heard good things about this place, and a new location just opened in Canton Crossing where Atwater's used to be. There's plenty of free parking, and the space was clean and cute. I ordered a caramel latte and a sesame bagel with egg, cheese, and turkey bacon. My order came out within five minutes, but it was disappointing. The bagel lacked flavor, and the sesame aroma was nonexistent. It was soggy and fell apart, making it impossible to pick up and eat. The overall taste was bland. The coffee was hot and looked good, but it wasn't made properly (caramel wasn't mixed in). For $20, this meal wasn't worth it. In hindsight, I should have tried a pastry or something sweet, as those looked much better. I'd recommend saving your money and going to another coffee shop.

If you aren't familiar, Kneads is a fantastic bakery here in Baltimore. This is their third location. I've never had a bad pastry here. They also make a number of breakfast and brunch dishes. Seating is a little small here compared to the main location in Inner Harbor, but don't let that stop you. Fantastic, friendly service is what this place is known for. The new location is clearly continuing that trend.

My first visit to the latest Kneads bakery shop in Canton Crossing. The store replaced a venerable shop that had wonderful salads. I ordered ice tea ($5 with no refills) and a steak and egg bagel. Delicious but not a hand held item. The bagel was huge, too soft for my tastes, but it worked well with the perfect eggs and shaved beef. This is a nice cozy space for Sunday morning but I was surprised that there were no refills on the ice tea, but the water was free self serve. Pleasant and attentive staff. This is a great addition to Canton Crossing, except for the obvious flaw noted above.

I ordered a chocolate almond croissant and received just an almond croissant, I think you might have to heat it up so it tastes better but the portion was worth the price. I haven't tried the food options yet but pricing seemed expensive. They are fairly new so I think some of the staff is still getting trained. The ambiance is nice but again I think they are still getting the hang of things when it comes to cleaning up after customers. Some of the chairs were scattered and there were crumbs on the seats I sat in. I will try again once they are more settled.

Food- very good, fresh and flavorful - inspired.Service- table service was excellent from two waitersSweets Counter Service- We were completely ignored by the three women behind the counter who took great pains to " not see us". This went on for several minutes - we finally left . Such a disappointment for a much needed bakery with excellent table service and food.Ambiance- Large and California style modern- noisy and active; large crowd. The greeter was not friendly.
