I have been to this place a few times, but my most recent order came from UberEats, and I was pleased with the overall service I received.GLOWS:- The Aloo tikki is really good (I consider them the Indian version of a hash brown, packed with flavor).- I usually get their Papdi chat, which is a cold chickpea "stew." This time it was a little more spicy than I would like, but still pretty good.- They give a good portion of tandoori chicken in an order, which leaves a little for lunch the next day-- if you can help yourself from eating it all.GROWS:-Their naan bread is not the best I have ever had. It's a little thin and does not have a lot garlic flavor.

Prices are reasonable, food is great, and service was fast and professional. Plus, there's some nice music in the background. I would have taken a picture but I ate my meal too fast.

I was in the area and was craving mutton curry. Looked up indian restaurants nearby and stumbled upon this place. Ordered on Yelp and reached there in about 15 mins. The order status showed that the restaurant has not accepted the order. Dining area was closed, so I walked to the pickup section of the restaurant and it turned out that my order was already ready. I was glad that I checked on them instead of waiting. Coming to the food, it was easily some of the best Indian food I had, ever. I ordered goat curry in medium spicy level which was delicious! It had generous amounts of meat which were perfectly cooked. It was served with what I am assuming is jasmine rice. Rice was well cooked too. Not dry or soggy. Also ordered keema naan. It was soft and well made.Gulab jamun was listed as home made, so had to give it a shot. I am glad I did. It was soft and juicy, just the right amount of sweetness. These people know how to cook great food. Will be back soon to explore their menu.

I love Indian food and stumbled across this spot. I frequent this shopping center a lot and never realized it was an Indian restaurant here. I decided to check it out. Walking in I was greeted by a young lady, was going to get carryout but I dined in. It was only one other table seated. The service was kinda slow, food took about 30 mins. I ordered my usual the Tandoori Salmon it came out on a sizzling hot plate, it looked so good. The salmon was very fresh and flavorful and garlic naan, also very good, drizzled with herbs and garlic. I expected the rice to be under the salmon. I never dined in at an Indian restaurant only had carry out so not sure if the rice is on the side or not, no pressure it was still good. I asked for extra sauce. The ambiance was nice, I loved the table decor. The server was really nice and pleasant. I enjoyed my food, definitely recommend and will probably try again.

So. New to the area I was in search of furniture and caught this place out of the corner of my eye. After shopping decided to ck out yelp to see the reviews From the road I thought Itd be divey and suspect, but glad I read the reviews and gave it a chanceIt's in a lil strip mall alongside a cleaners a sushi bar and a medical equipment place. So was very surprised how much like a normal restaurant it was inside. Indian music and beads hanging from the ceiling with a few Indian paintings. Welcomed by a young hostess/waitress, for the 2hrs I was there no other patrons other than a couple of to-go orders. I'm guessing it was just a slow night because she said Friday was hopping. Started with garlic naan: very buttery and delicious. The lentil (?)crackers and 3 sauces were great as well. Hint: don't eat too much or you'll be full before the entree arrives!I wanted to try it all but since I was alone I got the "sampler": Tandoori Mixed Grill. Has 2tyoes of chicken, shrimp, salmon, and lamb. I don't eat shrimp so asked for extra salmon. Should've asked for extra lamb because I only got one piece! They were nice enough to bring me another though Ordered it hot, shoulda gone w Indian hot, cause it really wasn't spicy. Still goodSalmon was perfect and moist, as was one kind of chicken. The other was borderline dry but closer to the moist side so no complaints. The vegetables in the sauce were plentiful and flavorful! I enjoyed the side sauce as well. Basmati rice was great- coulda been hotter (heat wise) but still good. The water was AWESOME. It came in a carafe so don't know if it was originally tap or bottled, but it had no after taste-no taste at all, which water shouldn't, and went down well. Drank the whole carafe alone. Total was $23 for one. But I have enough for two more meals, that's only $8/meal for "home cooking". If in the neighborhood I'll return. Hopefully this review will help get them more customers in a random Saturday night

~ ... This was a pleasant shocker. I was in the Joppa area & only wanted one thing to eat ... Indian food. .. Location was suspect at first, because I hate eat at little shopping center restaurants. I ordered the chicken vindaloo dish, added potatoes .. with the garlic naan bread. . I ordered " to go " because I had to get to bed. And that's what makes my review so lit ! .. I ate my food the next day around noon & boy was it " Yeeaaaaaaah " . Portion was great. Didn't eat the whole thing. ( & I'm a total monster ). Most places try to play you and give you like 5 pieces of chicken.... . Not them.. I had tons of chicken & potato. I ordered my food medium spicy and it wasn't that at all. So I think you gotta just tell them to make your food super super spicy if your looking for that. Pleeeeease get the garlic naan bread with that white sauce . . Impressive tho. Very tasteful. Rich. Satisfying. My lil buddy at the Carryout window was amazing. Very friendly and she gave me some smooth cold water as I waiting on my food. I love it. No bar. No t.v. No alcohol. Plenty of parking. Def wasn't packed when I went. Wins my vote for a second visit. Enjoy family . #TeamDiesel4Evaaaaa

The other night we were sitting at hone and each of us had a hunger for some good Indian Food. It was Tuesday and our Regular go to Indian place was closed. Do we consulted Yelp to see what else might be available on a Tuesday evening. So we we decided to give Kitchen of India a try. When we arrived there was a sign in the window that said they were only open for takeout. We said what the heck and stood and figured out what to order in a hallway. The menu was pretty much the usual items you would find in most other local MD Indian restaurants. We chose some samosas, some pakoras and a curry dish with chicken. The pakoras were disappointing as they were simply fried chicken fingers or shrimp halves. The flavor was flat and the food was pretty much unappetizing. The truth is that we were expecting a nice sit down meal and e ended up with some mediocre takeout.Needless to say we will not be back till the place begin to serve in their dining room again.

First time customer here! Stopped by last night on my way home from work. It was late, and I was craving Saag Paneer. I gave Kitchen of India a call since they are on my way home. A really friendly guy named Bob answered the phone and took my order. An hour later I was enjoying the best Saag Paneer I ever had. They even give you one Gulab Jamun for dessert in a little cup!All of their foods are home made, and even the Paneer cheese is made in-house. I was so VERY pleased with everything, and I can't wait to try their other menu items. Thanks so much Bob for making my night.

So I've noticed that last couple times I've picked up food from here that the quality was off. I ordered food online today hoping things would be better. I get there for carry out and wait about ten mins before someone addresses me. The carry out person was fixing the order of another patron. Apparently they were mixing items. Not a good start. Once they were ready for me they told me the chicken was behind and it would be another five to ten minutes. "Okay", I thought to myself that's fine. I'm in not real rush.I get my food and take it home and was extremely disappointed. Chicken masala had spilled, the chicken itself was half burnt and they forgot my naan bread. I will never order from this place ever again.Sometimes being nice does not pay off. I should have checked the bags before I left so that part is on me. Lesson learned. Please don't make the same mistake I did and go to more organized establishments, like Bombay nights.

First time trying Indian cuisine and had a wonderful experience with this place. The food was rich in flavor and the portion sizes were great. I ordered the butter chicken, chicken tikka marsala, veggie samosas, chicken samosas, and garlic naan. ALL SUPERB! No complaints whatsoever.
