When my family and I relocated to Sykesville two years ago, our first quest in the neighborhood was to find a cozy café where we could enjoy a delightful cup of coffee and a fresh bagel. It's surprising that I haven't shared my thoughts about this place until now.The café, known as **Kismet**, serves Zeke Coffee--a Baltimore-based coffee roaster. Their bagels, accompanied by an array of cream cheese options, are always fresh and satisfying. Beyond bagels, Kismet offers a variety of other treats, including sandwiches, wraps, soups, and salads.Recently, they expanded their offerings by opening **Kismet Grab and Go**, located right next door. Here, you'll find fresh fruit bowls, invigorating juices, and wholesome wraps and sandwiches.My family and I have become regular patrons of both Kismet and Kismet Grab and Go. Whether it's a morning bagel and coffee or a satisfying lunch, these establishments have become an absolute gem for the Eldersburg area!

Bagels are great!! Order ahead is a nice option. Service is always good. Definitely the place to go if you are looking for great homemade bagels and a coffee!

They have a really nice variety of fresh bagels with a lot of options for breakfast and lunch. Good coffee. Staff are nice. Vibes are cozy with the decor, though the cafe can get busy (good busy!). Food is fresh and healthy and doesn't leave you feeling bloated. I'm a big fan of their sandwiches as well!

The cheddar everything bagel is the stuff breakfast dreams are made of! I've never had such a perfect bagel. Also, the horseradish bacon scallion cream cheese was extremely flavorful and decadent. The service was wonderful and the cafe atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend Kismet cafe and am looking forward to coming back for an acai bowl or a sandwich for lunch!

This should be interesting. So, I've been meaning to visit this place for a few months now. A friend of mine visited and raved about it. Day of visit... I walked in, checked out the menu and headed up to order. I ordered the Pesto Chicken Panini no cheese. Also ordered the Fresh Brewed Tea. I must say, everyone there was really nice and polite. They speak when they walk by and/ or if they happen to make eye contact. I love that! The environment was cool. The cafe is located in a shopping center at the corner which allows for outdoor seating and plenty of parking. They have a lot of stuff there. They sell bagels, sandwiches, soup, specialty beverages, reusable cups, freshly bagged coffee, you name it!They have a couple of those signs saying that time basically isn't of the essence. Everything's made to order. That's cool, but I never thought my panini would take 30 minutes, but it's ok. ... I had plenty of text messages and games to get updated on.Let me start with the panini, it's not your average panini. It's not on the flat sourdough bread that you anticipate. It's on a small roll. It's delicious! Fresh and soft. The pesto, delicious! My chicken, it was a little tough and difficult to chew. I would say a 3rd of it I just couldn't chew. I want to return back for a Reuben sandwich but I am afraid it may be tough as well so I think I try a breakfast sandwich. Specifically that Bagel BLT.Fresh brewed tea can be a handful and a hassle to sweeten to liking but this fresh brewed tea was worth it. They have a nice condiment station where they have several types of sugar to choose from. I put a few of the raw packets of sugar in and it was perfect. The fresh brewed tea had a smooth taste and actually probably would have been good without the sugar. I just couldn't go without.Although the food didn't win me over, the customer service certainly did and I am dedicated to returning back into a find that perfect match for my tummy.I'd definitely visit again!

Slow service on busy days but good food. Try the Southwest Egg Bagel sandwich on toasted wheat. Barista style coffee drinks too.

Food is great, everyone is wonderful. A fave place... risking sounding like an old grump but the music is too loud. A group across the cafe from where I am sitting are shouting at each other to have a conversation. So, I get the musics blasting and their talk. It's not pleasant, Especially early in the morning. I don't expect it to be quiet but it really is unpleasant to often listen to hard rock just blaring. Otherwise , of course 5 stars. Great addition to Eldersburg all these years.

While the sandwiches are good, trying to order is nearly impossible. They rarely answer the phone. If they do, they lose the order. I tried to order online but couldn't. All the manager says is "I'm doing my best". Don't go there on the weekend - they can't handle it.

I'm here right now! The bagels are slaying. The people who werk here look preppy. I'm satisfied. This place has good vibes and good bagles. But I do miss my chocolate.muffins they don't have them currently
