The food at this dirty hanaucan Carryout is just ok. There are better Jamaican spots in the area. This one is convenient to my gym and I was hungry today so I stopped by only to be reminded that the lady that runs the orders lacks customer service. No smile. Not even a hello. She even tried to assume that adding an additional side item to my order wouldn't be affordable. I had to remind her that I can pay for the additional item. Even when she called me to pick up my order, it was in a nasty tone. It doesn't help that she's lethally unattractive so she would really want to be nice to people. I'll probably never eat at this place again. Her attitude sucks. ‍I woke up to stomach aches in the middle of the night. Careful eating at this place.

Not bad. Just not as good as I remembered. I hadn't patronized since 2021. Something about my food was a little too sweet. I got a large oxtail dinner and they didn't hesitate to give you your money's worth. My daughter got the two meats (oxtail and stew chicken) she said it was fine. I am not a good judge of stew chicken it's one dish I do NOT eat from outside. The jerk wings are still yummy. Service isn't bad. The lady behind the desk was friendly. Yet they still do not have menus other than the ones on the counter top.

My rating reflects very little, if anything, about the quality or quantity of the food. Instead, it primarily pertains to the horrible customer service, at yet another Black-owned business, I experienced. Despite hearing positive things about the food, I decided to make a 25-minute drive to support this Black-owned business. Unfortunately, the terrible service began the moment I entered the establishment.Upon walking in, I was greeted in an aggressive manner with, "What can I do for you...or what can I help you with." I asked to see the menu. After placing my order, I requested a different sauce than the jerk sauce initially offered.While some patrons may overlook poor service if the food is exceptional, for me, both aspects are equally significant and must meet my standards.As a customer, I believe that quality food and courteous service should go hand in hand, and I hope this review helps the business improve its overall customer experience

One of my favorite Jamaican places in Maryland. It's found on the back side of the PG mall. Small restaurant but definitely big in taste!!!! Their patties are delicious, you can never go wrong. During regular business (not covid time) they have lunch specials. It's like $8-$10 for a whole bunch of food. Their regular menu prices aren't bad either jerk chicken is about $11-12 depending on if you get white or dark meat. All their entrees come with rice and pea, cabbage and plantains. I ordered a small jerk chicken and a large curry chicken. They have three sizes small, large, and x large. Their jerk chicken is very tasty and has tons of flavor. You have to e option of having the jerk sauce on the side or on the chicken. I always get it on the side because I like to dip my chicken and I like it on the rice. Their rice and peas alone have lots of flavor and can be eaten on its own. The curry chicken can use a little more spice. But overall was delicious as well. I will continue to go to this place no matter the distance.

For dinner I had an oxtail platter to go. It's sides are cabbage, plantains, rice & peas. This Caribbean combo was so delicious! I recommend trying this place when in the area. The wait time from order to out the door service is 5-15mins for two platters, not bad.

I tried this place because several people under an instagram post about Just Jerk in Lanham said THIS place had the best Jamaican food in the DMV. They lied. The small jerk platter was $14. The container was filled to the brim with flavorless boil in a bag 5 minute rice with some beans mixed in for color. The piece of chicken was so small I was finished in two bites. The chicken tasted baked vs grilled with only a slight flavor of jerk. The sauce was good and the cabbage was flavorful. I'd never come back here.

To this day, Kingston Arbor is the only place where the staff open the trays and show you your food before you pay or they bag it, just to make sure everything looks to your satisfaction. And they remain my favorite place to get Jamaican food from in MD! I recently found out that the family of one of my cool Pokemon Go buddies is the one that owns the spot, which makes it even cooler. The way the coconut milk resonates in their rice and peas, the satisfying KICK their jerk gives, and the consistent quality of their food over the years have kept me coming. There has been one change -- the price of everything has went up dramatically since my college days. Some things have even doubled! But honestly, is the food still worth it? ABSOLUTELY.

Good service, decent food. Love the jerk chicken and Mac and cheese. I will be back. Get the jerk wings too with the sauce.

I don't know what happened to my food but I'm pisseD $19 with soda It doesn't taste like curry : it's just yellow I guess no nothing ,the chicken isn't really coming off to much gotta shake it not tryin use my fingers, I do doordash and eat my car I'm ready to throw this shyt on the floor Even the rice is ughh I been coming here for 25 years maybe 30 idk but this isn't cooool I can't get my $15 baCk,! NoWw what do I eat? Ughhh not cool, It must be new people there cooking or something ,! Oooo the cabbage don't even taste cooked,!!!!
