Kindee Vegan Thai Food

The indoors isn't open, and it isn't in the best neighborhood, so definitely order ahead and have a plan for where you want to eat. That said, the proprietor was incredibly kind and just a pleasure to talk to--she also threw in a free drink with our order, which we appreciated! Logistics aside, the food was good! I got a spicy soup, which was delicious, and my friend got a Pad Thai, which I liked but she didn't--it was fairly mediocre as pad Thai goes, maybe a little light on the tamarind. The real hit though was the chive cakes. They were absolutely incredible, and if I were going back I might just get a few orders of chive cakes--they have that perfect combination of oil, soft texture, and intense vegetable taste. The sauce with them (ginger garlic soy reduction, I'm pretty sure) was the perfect accompaniment.The owners are also associated with some good local food charities, which is how I heard of the restaurant in the first place. Go try them out! And don't skimp on the appetizers!

The best Thai food takeout In Maryland.The food is vegan, tastes delicious. You can also request not too spicy, which I did.I was extremely pleased getting food from there, their first day open.The food is served in microwaveable containers that are environmentally friendly.I highly recommend getting food from here!

Absolutely fantastic, super authentic, high quality Thai food right here in Waverly! Highly recommend. The food was ready quick, owners are incredibly sweet, and everything was delicious! It's a short menu, we ordered one of each option, and each dish was amazing. This food is not just for vegans--the food is just excellent all around Thai food. Definitely check it out. Specify mild spice unless you like authentic levels of spice! We are so excited to have this in the neighborhood and will make it part of our regular rotation!

The owners are so nice! Food was great, they even had gluten-free options! I had trouble finding the address, but the owner(s) talked me to the pick up window. It's not in a great neighborhood, there were a ton of people hanging out on the corner, and the cops came while I was looking for the address (apparently I'd passed it twice before I called...) It was a kind of rowdy and looked a little intimidating, but all the people hanging around spoke and were completely pleasant, too. Once I found the place, it was a good experience with great food! I'll go back...

Excellent and fresh thai food! Had the pad thai and cha manao drink. Love that I'm able to get this food in bmore!

The food was delicious! I had the pad gaprao and the cha yen. The "on fire" spice was indeed very spicy, and the vegan fried egg was the most realistic I've ever had.
