My girlfriend and I were in town for the day. While looking for a place to escape the BRUTAL July heat, we found this oasis near the harbor. The bartender Mason kept the cold drinks coming! A while later more guests (escaping the heat) came in and ended up boosting the mood even more! A quick pitstop turned into hours of fun. The wings and crab cakes were hitting too! Truly a good time.

I came here after a looooooong day at a local convention. I hadn't had any food since breakfast, and I had been standing on my feet all day. So I was tired and hungry and ready to decompress after my event. Plus, I really wanted a meal from a local establishment - not from the numerous expensive chains dominating the Harbor landscape. For the most part, Key West Island Bar gave me exactly what I needed. A tall alcoholic drink? Check! A plate piled high with food? Check! (And as a bonus - food that wasn't overpriced Harbor food or bad hotel food? Check!)I do admit that my hunger probably colored my judgement...just a bit...but seriously, I thought my meal was great. I got a platter with a crab cake, veggies, coleslaw, and fries. The crab cake was fresh and hot; the fries were nicely seasoned and not-too-crunchy-not-too-soft; and the coleslaw and veggies provided a tasty and crunchy addition to the ensemble. If I had one "issue" (term used loosely here) with my meal, it would be that the lone bartender on staff really wanted to make conversation. And I did not. I was never rude to the poor man as I know working food service is not easy, but his inability to pick up on normal "I can't talk" cues was frustrating. At least he let me eat in peace once the food arrived.Overall though, things went smoothly here. I needed food and a drink, and I got food and a drink. Good food and a nice drink, no less. I'd consider returning here again during future trips to Baltimore.

This place is pretty much the worst. Our credit card was "given away" to the wrong person. We had to call up our bank and cancel it, and we were out of town here for a baseball game. What a nightmare. I will not return.

Omg so I got stuck with jury duty and instead of taking the $15 and shoving it, I decided to come to this awesome bar. The bartender Jessica is super freaking awesome. She understood my sorrows and was able to chime in with her own stories to make it what we call outside of the technology world "a great conversation." She had my shots ready as soon as I was lol. Stop on in to this sweet gem. You'll love it. Make sure you ask for Jessica!!!

Such a random shack of a bar.The beers aren't anything special, and the bartender was really rude. You could definitely find other bars around that are better on all fronts.

On our walk back from the Inner Harbor my boyfriend and I were thirsty and saw this cool place. Sat inside and were instantly greeted by the bartender and he was awesome! And just to say we're were treated great and definitely left not thirsty!

Serve beer in cheap plastic cups. The theme makes no sense, pretty confusing decor all around (key west is nothing to celebrate). It was open late on a Monday, so that is all I really cared about. The bathroom needs to be cleaned more, biggest complaint.

Had a good time here and our bartender was excellent! Stopped here with two galpals following a show at Royal Farms for a drink and a snack on the way back to our hotel. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and efficient, even though she was the only one working. She never let me get to an empty water cup, which I really appreciated. The orange crush was sweet and delish. I had the zucchini fries with boom boom sauce (yum, like a spicy mayo), which I liked. My friends seemed to enjoy their boneless wings and the southwestern egg rolls. Prices were completely reasonable. The only hiccup was that the bottled beer was kept a little too cold and they were all semi-frozen, but it was not a big deal. The walls are decorated with appropriately kitsch Key West paintings and people have signed the wall (I didn't take a closer look). All in all, we had a very pleasant time, I'd return.

This is the worst bar I have ever been to. The food is terrible and the service is even worse. This place is utter shit and I hope no one else ever spends their money on this place. I found a long strand of hair in my mozzarella sticks which made me gag. When I went home after this terrible experience my stomach was in so much pain and I was vomiting all night.
