Boutique style little sandwich bistro in Kensington inside an antique shop. Excellent quality in an adorable atmosphere.

Whoops - It's in Kensington row, not Bethesda row! Right by the little farmers market there and a bunch of antique shops. Now that I've had a chance to try their pastries and sandwiches I can say with confidence that this is an excellent place to go for a bite or to chat over coffee with a friend! The sandwich was delicious, fresh, and wrapped excellently for on-the-go. They are also happy to make dietary or preference accommodations, and the service is simple but fast and friendly. Love love love! I'm going to add this to the list of places I take friends when they visit.I'll be back for sure!

Delicious!! I ordered the Karlee sandwich which is smoked salmon on ciabatta. The sandwiches are served with chips. My only complaint was the sandwich had too much mayo for my taste, but I'd still order again but ask for less mayo. The service is quick and efficient. There's not much seating inside but there's a lovely patio outside!

What a great find this little gem is! Our meals were delicious, friendly service, inside an antiques mall- lovely atmosphere.

We like the ambience and the service was good as well. Very cute little place. I can't think of anything else to say, except for the food was well above average.

When I first heard of Karlee's I looked it up and the photos looked familiar. They took over another deli we had been to. They seem much more organized than the previous operation. I placed our order online. We selected a turkey, brie and tomato sandwich on a baguette to share. We had our choice of breads, but I love a nice chewy baguette and this one did not disappoint. There was an option online to add pesto to the sandwich and next time I absolutely will. We also ordered gazpacho, which turned out to be out of stock. They tried to call but we had already left to pick up to offer a substitute. The good news was they had a chicken soup as another option, which I love, and it was delicious. I think it was more of a vegetable soup with chicken but that didn't really matter. The sandwich came with a bag of "dirty" potato chips. While we waited for our order we browsed the food and beverage items they had in the little shop area near the order counter. The staff was very pleasant and the market is cute, with a number of small dining areas. The front porch is "enclosed" with plastic and has tables for outdoor seating. Definitely will be back!

This new iteration is so much better than the previous cafe! The menu is varied, and the staff are very nice. I ordered the BLT with avocado sandwich and it was delicious, and the portion size was perfect. I enjoyed the outdoor seating, and appreciated that the staff didn't rush me when they were getting ready to close. (The previous cafe staff took my order and didn't mention they were getting ready to close, then handed me a box and told me my order had just become a carry out order.)

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and can't wait to go back to try more things! Great sandwiches, nice looking salads, and various soups. Don't forget to stop at Potomac Sweets across the street on the way out!

So yummy. The strawberry lemonade is insane and super nice staff, very cozy place, definitely worth checking out

This is one of those restaurants that you pay a tip and you don't really get service. We ordered at the counter. They delivered it to the table. Food was passable. They never came back to the table. They didn't chat or exchange niceties. I wanted to take the leftovers. They handed me a bag. I like friendly people. They were not
