Sat immediately, but took a while for what I assume was the bartender to take my order since he was working the bar when I was seated. He didn't seem to understand what I had ordered. Kung Pao Shrimp."Do you want it spicy?" Hmm...yes."What side?" What?"White or fried rice?" Oh, white. Food was okay. Nothing special.Had to flag down the hostess for a refill of water as bartender never returned and I couldn't get his attention as he was talking with a lady at the bar. I do wish the music would be a radio-edit version as it was off putting listening to foul language and n-word all throughout the dinner.

Updating to add other things we've tried. The Cajun fries are the bomb. Weirdly enough, I think I had a totally different regular fry than either the first time (when they were perfect) or my second time (when they weren't amazing). Last night they were kind of in between but the Cajun fries were perfect. Maybe they have an inconsistent fry supplier? Not sure.Anyway. They added a barbeque pork appetizer, and for $6 it's a great deal. It could easily have been a meal for me if I ate it all myself. I really like the sauce, and the pork itself was also tasty if maybe a teensy bit dry on the inside (the sauce very much helps with that). I totally want to try the bbq spareribs next time but the pork was very satisfying.Still love the shrimp and catfish baskets, we ended up bringing half of it home. They have a bunch of smoothie flavors so sometime when we don't order an appetizer I want to try one. Hubby had a couple of the old fashioneds, and liked them once he stirred them a bit - they use sugar instead of simple syrup so it fell to the bottom. The diet pepsi from the fountain is still on point.I want to try more of their Chinese food too.

Don't knock it until you try it. Twice in one week. Seafood is very fresh. Mr Paul and ms Karen are such a great team. NO "KARENS" here they treat everyone EQUAL. The food and conversation on point. CLEAN (including restroom) AND NO HARSH SMELLS. The bar doesn't have fruit flies flying around. And glasses actually look like if you didn't have straws I still might drink off the cup , jk. But this place is really clean. Food was so fresh I had to blow my shrimp. I stumbled upon here after doing some shopping on a Saturday, And went that Sunday to watch the game. Lol. If you want a spot out the way and chill with good food. Try here. Shrimp , Singapore noodles(you can ask to alter spicy)Heck the boil was even fresh. YEA WONT SAY OTHER NAMES ,BUT THIS PLACE IS THE SPOT TO BE. Go visit this place and you'll always go back.

Lucky find. I really thought I was gonna find a hole in the wall and instead I found a very clean large restaurant with good food and great service. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere was great. They even have a really nice bar, fish tank and would be great for large parties

I paid $16.50 for what they said was a jumbo crab cake. Absolutely not. This is a Chinese food restaurant trying to sell Louisiana boil seafood it's OK but not the best.

I ordered fried catfish platter and it was delicious, well seasoned and super crispy. I asked for Cajun fries, but the had no spice... it was more like seasoned fries. I'll be going back and try other seafood and Chinese dishes.

Local gem in the Briggs Chaney Marketplace :) My boyfriend & I go here every once in a while & we enjoy the seafood boils a lot. The seasoning is one of the best in the area.

I walked today in and politely asked the man at the desk who was too busy playing on his phone for a table for 2. He looked at me as if i was disturbing him and said "have a seat" rudely. I just left immediately after because if the service is that bad then of course the food will be too. That attitude is not good for businessThe place is also not that clean! So be careful choosing to eat here.

I went to Karen's Seafood today stated my 1st time here. I tried the Crab Cake was TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED!!! the filling was not pleasing to taste then Lumps of Crab meat laid on top. Sorry for $!4 or for $1 you can't get my business again. So not Pleasing most of all for price you charge too costly for nastiness.So dont eat the Crab Cakes!!!!
