Kahler Hall

It's a good venue for the last few events we've attended. They've all been work events, but for parties and such. The staff has been helpful when needed, which honestly isn't often. My only 'complaint' would be the sound system. The podium and microphone give feedback at weird variations. If you're not close enough: feedback. If you turn the volume DOWN: feedback. It's weird.Anyway, it's still a sizable location and pretty easy to get to. It's not far from US 29, but far enough away to be quaint and cozy (though the exterior doesn't really evoke this feeling). Great place for an office event, or probably an event of any kind.

great place to host a party! my friend had a birthday party & it was a lot of people but it was sooo much space which was a good thing. i definitely recommend!

I hosted a event there back in February of this year. The entire process from booking the venue to set up was completely easy. I booked the social room which holds up to 120 ppl. A week before my event I called the venue to give them the count of how many ppl would be attending and how many tables (and type of tables) I would need. Needless to say when the decorators arrived on the day of the event everything was setup perfectly. They didn't have to do any rearranging whatsoever. The kitchen area was useful which contains a ice machine, refrigerator (forgive me I can't recall if there was a freezer as well), double sink, counter top space, as well as plenty of trash cans with trash bags. Also the restrooms are located on the same level as the social room in the back which was convenient for guest. I'm not one to host events however if I had to host another one I would definitely utilize Kahler Hall as my venue. They return your deposit a few days later without you having to call them to ask. The entire process for me was wonderful and my event was a big success.

Very nice ambiance and a great rental to plan a event at. Very spacious, they have a down stairs and a upstairs. They also have a lounge area where you can sit down and have a conversation, to get away if you want. You also can go outside and enjoy the little park area. Parking is free, they have two parking lots and a safeway within walking distance in case you run out of anything for your event. Not sure how much they charge, being that I was just a guest there. All

I came to a wedding reception this past weekend and the hall was so pretty! The lobby was used as a bar which gave the party more room in the main hall for dancing. The staff were very helpful. I would recommend this place for a reception, party or club night. NICE!!!
