Went for a birthday and it went very smoothly ! Henry's served me and my family and it went very well ! He was attentive and great at describing dishes 6 of us split 3 entres and 2 apps and we were pretty full overallWe ordered a pineapple cardamom N/A drink and that was very juicy and tasty. The other drink was passion fruit soda and that was refreshing as well Crispy trout was my favorite, loved the sauce and veggies all under the trout. It was indeed crispy and quite fresh Lamb tagine came up second for me and it was so juicy and tender, the cous cous was amazing and took up the sauce and flavor so wellSteak frites were juice and fries were skinny and crispy ! Nice touch Labneh was full over flavor and veggies which we all lovedBiased against salads so the Grecque was solidDefinitely would go back

The steak was tender and savory. The eggs were poached.The complimentary desert was a take on the ice cream sandwich with Patachio gelato . My friend who is Greek knew the manager when he was a baby.I didn't realize that Julii and Medina are owned by the Cava brand. They plan to open a "Michelin" star bound restaurant, named "Bouboulia". This restaurant is named after a female Greek freedom fighter. This restaurant will open this month. Getting back to Julii's, we loved the openness of the restaurant. It had a trendy and homey vibe. The staff were young but well trained.We didn't feel rushed and the kitchen was efficient. The restaurant is good for groups.

Bravo to the team at Julii!! What an incredible experience...from the beautiful decor to the spectacular food and drinks. This was my first time dining at Julii and I can't believe it. I would pass by it all the time, but just never stopped in. This place makes you feel like you're dining at a European bistro. Our food was delicious. I ordered the Branzino special and my girlfriend ordered the steak and frites. Both were delectable! The only sad thing is that the Branzino isn't part of their every day menu. However, there is tons more on the menu that I look forward to trying! The place gets packed so keep that in mind when deciding when to visit. I'm not sure if they take reservations, but if so, I'd recommend. Can't wait to get back to try more!!!

I really enjoyed my experience here! It's a lovely restaurant in Pike & Rose. It's a big small but it feels cozy & intimate plus it wasn't too loud. I picked this place for my birthday since it had good reviews & I saw their scallop risotto was very popular. When we arrived they gave me a birthday card which was very sweet. We got an appetizer, the mushroom cavatelli, which was delicious. I could have eaten that as a main. Then we got the scallop risotto & lobster ravioli which was the special for Valentine's Day. Both were delicious. Light but complex notes of savory but acidic, I really enjoyed it! I usually like less complex dishes as long as they're done well. For dessert, which was complimentary for my birthday, I went with the Valentine's Day special which I believe was custard with bruleed strawberries. It was excellent! Service was good except for the waiter forgot our spoons for the dessert, but otherwise no complaints. Would go again if they rotate their menu just for variety!

12.26.24Came for lunch today with friends. I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese and hot cocoa. The bolognese was good, but the cocoa was bland. Not very chocolatey and tasted like they used water and not milk, which I would prefer.Our server was great and attentive. She started by going over the menu and her recommendations. Then while we were there, she came around several times to refill our water and clear the table. The kitchen appeared to be slow preparing the food as it took awhile before it came out.They have patio seating including Alpenglobe (private, heated, and enclosed dome designed for outdoor dining). I saw several patrons using them while we were there.This restaurant is located in Pike & Rose and is across from LL Bean. The closest garage is on Prose Street.

Trout has nice flavor. Shasouka is OK, bit spicier for my taste. I prefer the trout. However, I wished they can debone the fish better, especially for the price.Nice butterfly presentation. We would try the sister restaurant, Melina next time.

I wasn't sure if I would enjoy Julii as much as I enjoyed Melina (which is nearby), especially being a vegetarian. I am happy to be completely wrong this is such a good spot for a celebratory meal or special date night. Hits:- Mon Cheri: good option for a sweet, but still light and refreshing drink that isn't too fruity -- this one has a nice hint of spice to it. - Labneh: flavor bomb, lots of different textures too. Creamy, crunchy, salty, umami flavors all coming together - Lamb tagine: hubby devoured despite the huge portion. Strong, robust flavors and tender lamb. - Cauliflower: it's a WHOLE cauliflower. Fair warning. The whole thing is cooked well and it has good flavor throughout (no spots where it's bland or undercooked). The sauces are working overtime here to bring the flavor and it absolutely works esp. if you enjoy truffle. Misses:- the old fashioned was "fine" but nothing special Our server was lovely, the ambiance is perfect for a date, and the food is genuinely delicious. If we can get a reservation I'd love to come back and try their brunch!

Great food and ambiance. It's fun to sit by the bar if possible. Best to go in the day time. The windows are large and it is bright! They also make great craft cocktails. Get the old fashion! They smoke the drink and put pomegranate seeds on the side to add for a different taste.

J'adore Julii A last minute change in our dinner plans had us seated in the outdoor area, and us attempting to order (almost) everything off the menu :) and Julii absolutely delivered!Customer service was attentive and gracious, and the heated lamps made the outdoor seating on an October night much more comfortable.And the food was fantastic!!! and I admit I was a bit skeptical due the description of "French Bistro with a touch of the mediterranean." I didn't know what to expect, but the stellar food reviews wereaccurate.The mushroom cavatelli-(mushrooms, truffle, hazelnuts, and aged parmigiano); Labneh (thick greek yogurt, dried chickpeas, artichoke, za'atar, and pickled mustard seeds); scallops risotto; burratta; and brussel sprouts were my favorites!!The ambiance is modern and romantic..and parking is nearby. And I love their signature peacock emblem. Yelpers..you steered us right...Highly recommend Julii!!

Just wanted to come on here to say an updated review as this place is still phenomenal as I remembered. I stopped by with a group of friends without a reservation for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away which was great despise how busy it was (would highly call the restaurant ahead of time just in case to see if there's any open tables since they fill up quite fast). Our server immediately came to greet us and told us about their brunch special which was the lobster eggs benedict (they only do brunch specials and dinner specials on the weekend) so we immediately put one in because it sounded too good not to pass up. We also ordered one of their signature Nutella crepes and a French toast. Everything came out fantastic and we had no complaints. Our favorite dish There was lots of lobster on the benedict which we fairly enjoyed, the fries on the side were super well cooked, very crispy and well seasoned as well which was a huge plus. The French toast bread was super thick which made it so that it wasn't soggy and had really nice hints of spices with the added crunch of the pistachios that I didn't think I would like at first but ended up loving. The cream that they put on the side for the French toast was also really good (it was kind of similar texture to marshmallow fluff) and paired well with both the French toast and the Nutella crepes. The crepes were also super well made and I think it had the perfect amount of Nutella and bananas. Loved the service here as they constantly kept checking in on us, and made sure our waters were never empty the whole entire meal. The server did a great job in recommending dishes for us to try and making sure we were all satisfied with our orders. Both managers also were super attentive as Louis originally made sure everything came out alright and asked if we needed anything when we were enjoying our meal multiple times. And when we ended up getting another order of drinks later on after we finished, the other manager Herson came and dropped them off and also made sure to check up on us as well. Love all the staff members at Julii and the food is always fantastic and nothing less. Highly recommend for people to come whether it's for brunch, lunch or even dinner!
