Juicy King Crab House

When I say this place has THEE BEST fried catfish and shrimp basket, I mean it!!!! I visited my sister's house one weekend and her husband had a shrimp basket he bought from JKC. He didn't finish it and gave the rest to me. By that time, the shrimp and Cajun fries were cold- AND STILL DELICIOUS! I ate the whole thing and promised myself that I would make a visit to get my own basket.Just a few days later, I did what I said and visited Juicy King. It's in a convenient location in the Putty Hill Plaza. It is housed in the former Peking House restaurant. I made a call to put my order in. The woman over the phone told me that it would be ten minutes. When I arrived, it was ready for me. The meal comes with two sauces, cocktail & tartar sauce, along with salt, pepper and ketchup. When I took a bite of the catfish, words couldn't describe how crispy and delicious this fish was. So light and flavorful! The shrimp were as tasty as the first time, even more so that I ate them hot. The fries were perfectly seasoned. So, so perfect. They give you perfect portions, as well! This is definitely my favorite thing on the menu. I turned my sister and mom onto them and they both agreed on how awesome the fish and shrimp box was! Now for my third trip, I had a taste for hibachi and remembered that Juicy King had a hibachi menu. I decided upon the shrimp, chicken and steak. I believe it was about 30 dollars. It was pretty good BUT not as good as another restaurant (that I won't name out of respect), that makes a similar dish. However, it wasn't bad, and the ingredients were fresh. The restaurant isn't fancy, but it is clean and nice enough to sit down for lunch or dinner. I'm getting hungry thinking about their fish and shrimp right now! You will not be sorry. Highly recommended!

Juicy king crab special: 4/10 I wish the flavor stuck to the seafood more.. corn was overcooked along with the crawfish ;( The shrimp was my fave along with the (not pictured) passion fruit tea w/boba! Also, I'm a Arnold Palmer/half n half fanatic & they've had the best I've had so far :DFried calamari: 5/10 perfect texture, not enough flavor. Got a side of their special chili sauce and it was pretty good. Great price for the option! $46 for 3 options!

I rate this place 1 star bc I was at my friends party and they took too long to bring my other friends food, BUT I NEVER GOT MINES! The customer service was VERY BAD! They was answering the phone and not worrying about the people that was paying them money in front of there face! But I gotta say the Taro Milk Tea was delicious! But we had to fuss them out bc I didn't get my food and my friends cousin didn't get her right order and everyone left without there food but got there money back and plus the food wasn't even that good! I would not recommend comin to this place for birthday party's or with a lot of people!

This was so so good. The hush puppies were perfect and the Mayo was so good with it. The wings also were really good but I was bummed they didn't have blue cheese. The fries were decent, they weren't super crispy but that could just be from it being delivered/soggy. The seafood itself was so so good. I do with they gave some tools for the crab legs but I get it. The seasoning also all was at the bottom, I wish it stuck better to the food. I also wish you could do old bay along with the garlic butter seasoning without extra cost. All in all very good!

I haven't been able to get snow crab legs in the places I used to, like an add-on to steak at The Steakhouse on Joppa Road. They don't have it anymore.Anyway, I watch a little girl once a week, and she was the one who would eat the add-on. We hadn't had crab legs since before the pandemic.I saw the sign along Belair Road, so I picked up a menu before I picked her up. It is located next to Bulls Eye, in the shopping center where the Giant is on Belair Road at Rossville. She was excited to go. We got a half cluster, which comes with a potato and half ear of corn. You can get plain melted butter, or garlic butter. They have the drinks with the little "bubbles" in it. We both like them. They also have a well stocked barAll the food was really delicious! We were given crackers to use, but nothing else. The lady cut the legs up for the little girl, and then for me, because I was having some trouble too.The food, atmosphere, and staff were very nice. The restaurant was really clean. We will probably go there once a month. I think the meal was about $15-18. I don't recall. It's not where we could afford to eat every week! Lol

Food and seafood boils are delicious here! I just moved in the area and this place has gotten too much of my money already. They are going to continue to get my money too because I'm addicted to the seafood boils. I get the garlic butter seasoning -hot. I love that combination soo much that I'm scared to try another flavor. I will be returning again and again and again.

I tried this place out (on uber eats) because I had a taste for seafood boil and I didn't want to drive to Laurel, MD to get it from Red Crab House. I WISH I'd taken the drive. First, my seafood boil from this place was entirely too salty. So, it wasn't enjoyable. I would only give the food a 6/10. Second, the portions at Juicy King are so small compared to the average seafood boil place. For the same price as Red Crab House, this place gives you a quarter of the food. I'm not exaggerating. I ordered a boil with crab legs and shrimp. I had ONE cluster and about a quarter pound of shrimp, 1 potato and 1 corn. I had to pay a surcharge, for more than one potato and corn and they only gave me one more of each. I visited Red Crab House with a friend today, just 2 days after ordering from this place. At Red Crab House, I had 4 clusters, a full pound of shrimp, 8 potatoes, and 2 corns on the cob for THE SAME PRICE. I did not have to pay extra for the potatoes and corn. This was the standard amount that they give.So, in a nutshell significantly less food + sub-par quality = HARD PASS! I won't be going back. If you want a great seafood boil plus 4x the amount of food as this place for the same price, head to Laurel. This place is sure to be a disappointment to anyone who regularly purchases seafood boils.

I waited to do a review because MY FIRST seafood boil was SOOOOOO DELICIOUS that I thought it may have been my 1st time luck. Within the 1st month I have ordered at least 4 times to my home and twice at work for our entire staff. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN SATISFYING. HUGE crawfish, perfect whiting fish sandwich (secret sauce needs a bottle to go), snow crab legs, mussels... the cajun flavor is my favorite but Ive tried the house blend and that blew me out of my shoes!!! THIS PLACE IS A MUST HAVE IF YIU LOVE SEAFOOD LIKE US BALTIMOREANS!!

Flavorless , bad seafood.Me and cousin got sick from the snow crab legs. I got the hottest flavor and still wasn't satisfied.

This is my favorite meal tilapia and shrimp meal. Lemon pepper on top is something you have to ask for.Last meal I got was the shrimp and tilapia combo, I ask for lemon pepper on top and it was good.
