JoJo's Restaurant & Tap House

Love this place. The food is delicious, love the ambiance, service is on point and drinks are pretty great as well. Our first visit, we sat in the main dining area. We ordered food and drinks. Their drinks taste really fresh. We tried the blueberry basil smash, as well as the blackberry margarita, which were both very enjoyable. I love the food options at Jo Jos. This was out second visit here, and I love that they offer gluten free options and are aware of allergens. My husband ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which was perfectly fried and on a fresh warm brioche bun. I opted for the salmon sliders, which were amazing, and added some truffle fries. It was the perfect late evening meal to go with our drinks. Depending on the day and time, parking on the street may be limited, but there are options in the area. Service here and at the bar is great. Jo Jos is certainly one of my favorite spots while in Frederick, and worth a try when you're in the area!

This place has been consistent and always always amazing. My go to is the Brunch Burger with Truffle Fries!

We were out on an afternoon adventure on Sunday. It was Lunchtime and it was hot.In fairness, we chose based on close and AC. But that turned out to be the right choice!We arrived for Brunch, and I have to say three things.1. the appetizer (we got the Avacado APpetizer) was stunning.2. My dining partner of choice got the omelet. I got the steak bowlThe food was prepared perfectly, and Our server was a delight. Sadly, there was a desert menu.We ended up sharing the Chocolate Decadence and honestly that may have been the perfection we needed.Did I mention they have Guiness on Tap?

We stopped in for dinner on Mother's Day, and truly enjoyed sitting on the restaurant side of Jojo's - there is a tap House side as well, that looks like a great place to go for drinks. I had the crab cake sandwich which was fresh and flavorful, and the service from Melissa was efficient. Pricing was quite reasonable averaging less than $35 per person all-in including the entree, drinks, tip and tax. While we were traveling through town on a special occasion, this is the kind of a place we would certainly return to if we lived in the area.

My husband and I lived in Frederick 30 years ago when we first got married. We were staying in Frederick for the night after visiting our daughter in DC for the weekend. He was nice enough to make a reservation at this restaurant for dinner Sunday night. We arrived a little early for our reservation, but they were nice enough to seat us anyway. The downtown district is so quaint and charming, even more so than when we lived there 30 years ago. This restaurant also fits that bill. They have two big rooms for dining. The menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. I ordered the Chipotle meatloaf with mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was delicious. My husband had the crab cake sandwich. He also enjoyed his meal. We were very happy to be back in downtown Fredrrick and loved it.

It's been many years since I last visited Jojo's Restaurant & Tap House in Downtown Frederick, MD. My husband and I arrived for brunch, and we quickly found something on the menu we knew we'd like. Our waitress was one of the nicest people ever. She checked on us often and was very efficient. The food, on the other hand, was average. I ordered the chicken and waffles. In general, it was good. The waffle was golden brown, the spicy syrup was a nice change and the chicken was crunchy. Unfortunately, the chicken was also unseasoned and had absolutely no flavor. My husband also said his food was pretty bland as well. It's a shame because, on paper, the food selections look great, but the execution could be better. Since there are so many restaurants in Downtown Frederick, I don't know if I'll be visiting JoJo's again, but I want to emphasize how lovely the wait staff is.

Stopped in for a late lunch and was delightful surprised - not super busy which was more to the time of day, then to the quality of the restaurant. They accommodated my request to sit outside as it was beautiful and fun people watching.I decided to pick steak and cheese, offer the brunch menu on a gluten-free bun and a dragon lotus, which was a rum based delicious experience. Service was attentive, food was delicious without being overly excessive in price. (For the area anyway you always pay a premium downtown) and everything came out as requested. I would go here again- this was the dining side and I would probably try the bar side next time. Love that they are separated so you can pick your mood

Supposed to be hot food. Had to ask several times for food to be returned to the kitchen. Bread was stale. Service was subpar, food was worse.

Jojo's is perfect for a leisurely brunch. The ambiance is inviting and relaxed while the food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend the B.L.T.A. and Mango Passion Spritz if you're into deliciously fruity cocktails.

Boy talk about getting the right management to clean up a problem the place is fantastic everyone should go there
