Joe's Tavern & Pizzeria

We ordered takeout from Joe's Tavern after a long day of working in the garden. It was done online, and I think they are either unclear how to use the online system or they are dealing with some sort of glitch. The delivery guy was unsure if he should pick up a payment at the door, and I can't blame him for that because why should the delivery guy be the most knowledgeable one in the store, except the next day another delivery guy showed up with an identical order. We actually almost kept it since we enjoyed our food, but if you don't send those things back they have no incentive to put a fix in place.We were happy to find a place online that delivered sandwiches, and my wife enjoyed her Chicken Salad Sandwich very much. I just wanted some wings, and I suppose after a long day I didn't look at the prices very closely. I ordered 15 wings for sixteen dollars and that should really have tipped me off that these were whole wings. A good price for whole wings, but I do prefer a mix of winglets in drummies and not have to work the whole thing. But the Lemon Pepper wings were cooked really well, nice and crisp with a great flavor.This seems like a nice place to drop by for a beer, and the food ain't bad.

Finding a pizza place open on a Thursday night is harder than you might think!So we stopped in when we saw the open sign and pizza sign.First impressions mean a lot. Very drunk and very ghetto. Hoped food was better. At least beer was cold!Pizza was good, chicken tenders were huge! Fries nice and crisp! The paper plates, and improvised containers for cheese and hots show they don't cater to dine in customers too much....reason? Roaches! Yup, I would not eat there!

If you want the most shittiest food than you've come to the right place. Not only was my order completely wrong, it took nearly an hour to deliver and the delivery man ordered my food with a cigarette in his hand...TF?! I will never order from this place every again.

Cheap dive bar. The interior looks good. Good selection. Good service. There is a liquor store adjacent to it, guess this is common in maryland. Did not try the food....guess it's not too good from what others say. The gravel parking lot kinda sucks.

The crab pretzel: they microwaved a 3 month old pretzel, threw fake crab meat on top, and cheese from 1923. The fries were good though.

First and last time ordering from this place. My fiancé ordered a chicken parmesan sub and got something with lettuce, tomato, no parmesan and hots when we didn't order them. When we called to have this fixed. Best solution we could get was a free sub for the "next time". Yeah, there won't be a "next time" for you guys.

This review is for Joe's Tavern as a dive bar and there are few that are as ideal as Joe's.Drinks are insanely cheap, the bartenders are professional and charming. The food is good too.The patrons are from the neighborhood. They have character, but I assure you they won't hurt you, even if you have one of the three TVs showing the Orioles game switched to college softball.

This is the most disgusting food I have ever had. Ordered Fries with a side of gravy and a Tuna "WRAP" which came on a giant bun. Since I'm not a big complainer I simply took the top part of the bun off and began eating just the tuna. As I looked down to pick up a second bite I saw a nasty nappy black effing hair. WTF!!!! I spit out the bite I was chewing all while gagging and threw away everything I ordered. I did call and complain only to be offered a freebie on my next order. NO THANK YOU!!!! Won't ever eat from here again. GROSS and NASTY to the core!!! Also, the delivery driver did not have change... What delivery driver can't make change for $20 on a $13 order. I know who - a driver who wants a $7 tip. NOPE

I ordered the roast beef sub, that was a mistake. The meat was not fresh and I will not be going back.

Average food. Had delivery to the hotel staying at, order taker was kind of rushed I felt. Crab cakes soso, needed old bay, fries limp, wings crispy :) but no flavor. Delivery guy was nice
