Jillianos Pizza

A little diamond is the rough. We stopped in to try their subs since we are new to the area. Comparing the subs we are accustomed to, Jillianos exceeded our expectations. The next trip we will try their pizza.

I have passed by this place literally thousands of times but for some reason never stopped in. Probably because it looked like a small, unappealing sub shop. However, today I thought I'd see if I was missing something. I can't say I was missing anything, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Looking past the run down facade and interior, the food was slightly above average for a run of the mill sub shop. I had the chicken Parmesan sub and it had basic marinara provolone and a chicken patty, but it was a quality white meat chicken patty and the flavor was good. I also had fries with gravy and they were also pretty good. I don't think I'd seek this place out, but it was a good lunch at a reasonable price. Also, I chatted with the owner and he was very friendly.

Wow she had on no gloves. Rung people up and went to the back to make food. I mean she was sweet but that's it. Nope! I'm good love, never again.

Nice people from call placed to delivery driver. Fast delivery and food was super fresh and Jaz' the driver was sweet as could be...

The pizza was a little doughy. The sauce was good. The cheese was thick and stingy. The sausage was tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Was craving something sweet so I ordered the carrot cake and chocolate cake. The chocolate cake had a weird plastic taste to it. The carrot cake was hard dry and tasteless. The icing taste like clay and the cake itself was horrible. Please chose a new place to buy your cakes and resell them. Definitely a no for me!!

There was a bug in my food, owner insinuated it came from my apartment refused to give me my money back.

Ok... While the quality of ingredients and food is fair to good they seem to be lazy when it comes to food safety. I noticed the cook who often takes smoke breaks, right at the front door mind you, the odds of him washing his hands is 1 out of 3 times. I noticed he only used cold water to wash them as well. I also didn't see gloves being used when handling foods and prepping an order.I'm sorry I will never order from there again. It seems to be a job to them and not a passion. Eat at your own risk
