Jerk At Nite is a must-visit if you're craving flavorful, authentic Caribbean food. The jerk wings and chicken are absolutely amazing--perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with that signature smoky heat. The portions are generous, and the sides complement the meal perfectly. The service is friendly, and the food is always fresh, whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout. If you love bold flavors and well-cooked jerk dishes, this spot won't disappoint. Highly recommend!

I believe I saw the jerk chicken tacos in an Instagram post and saved it to my D.C. Yelp list, and I'm glad I did!! The tacos were worth the wait coming from Houston! The flour shells were soft and crispy, the chicken was well seasoned and juicy, and the peppers/onions rounded the flavor out nicely. The cabbage was bomb, wasn't expecting much it was a pleasant surprise. The beef patty was average but solid. 9/10 overall. The inside of the restaurant was small but did have places for you to dine-in. Service didn't take a long time considering the chicken was cooked fresh, but I also went after the lunch rush around 2 pm. If it was during busy hours I'd recommending placing a pick up order. Street parking is also extremely difficult to find and there isn't a parking lot.

Disclaimer: This is not about the food or this location. This is specifically about the service provided at the Capital One Arena pop up. Another stereotypical Jamaican establishment that doesn't have enough inventory of what they sell, and has rude staff to boot. They were truly jerks at nite (particularly the woman handling checkout, the man was nice). Glad to see the cuisine option at the arena but super disappointed by the experience. I didn't spend any money here and probably will avoid doing so in the future. Management, please hire and train better.

Saw Jerk at night on Tik Tok and thought it would be a great place to try, once I arrived the host at the register told me to look at the board for the menu. I started to order off the board but almost everything I tried to order was unavailable, No patties, no curry goat ???? It was disappointing, so we decided to order other stuff like the jerk chicken with Mac and cheese, oxtail and curry chicken. The jerk chicken was a 4/10 Mac and cheese wasn't cooked all the way, the noodles were still hard 0/10Oxtail had absolutely no flavor 1/10Cabbage was unseasoned but very spicy 3/10Curry chicken was not real curry chicken you can tell that they cooked the chicken and just used curry powder afterwards. This was not authentic Jamaican food.

Heavy portions, inviting staff, and plenty of choices. You can eat off one of these plates for 2 days. They don't hold back. Food was delicious, seasoned properly, and overall delicious.Only thing I would say is that the jerk chicken was hot as hell. But that's the thing about the jerk, it's either gonna be on the sweeter side, or extra spicy. But I will be back here for sure.

So I'll say that as someone who originally ate at the H street location, this was a blessing to still have around after the fire. I will like to mention that I loveeee Jerk At Nite. But I will also say that I don't like the inconsistency of the food here at times (some days it's cold, some days it's hot) and the parking is always atrocious. Overall I would rate this spot as this:Customer service: 5/10 : not the friendliest but I order to-go so this doesn't bother me. However, a smile or 2 wouldn't hurt every now and then. Jerk box w/ Mac: 7.5/10: this is NOT your typical Mac and cheese but I love it for what it is. It's creamy, spicy and has a Caribbean twist to it. Jerk chicken is always good. Just hate they charge for sauce when it's barely on the chicken at first. Di Yardie: 7/10 : pretty standard rice and peas. Cabbage is just okay so we typically get double rice. Beef Patties: 6/10 : it hits the spot when I'm craving a beef patty. This is not authentic Jamaican you would get back in JA but that's stated on their page. Their own flair is what makes it so good!!

This Jamaiican Food Place is open late nights in Washington, DC. They have a food truck as well. We came here at 12a-1a to order food for a family member. The parking is challenging as there is a club within 20 feet of the restaurant. Once we found street parking, we walked up to a line of about 15 people outside then about 15 more inside. This is a good sign; people willing to wait for authentic Jamaican Food. After standing in line for 20-25mins, we ordered with the 1 person taking orders. Then, we waited another 20mins for the food to be ready. There is no room inside the establishment to sit down while you wait for your food to be ready. We got back to our place and the family member started when they realize that it just wasn't as flavorful as the truck. The feedback is that the food truck food was well marinated well seasoned and cooked much better. Also, the full menu is not available mWe will stick to the food truck version of this place. It is nice that they have a stand up restaurant as well, but we prefer to have the good stuff for the prices we paid. TIP: The full menu is not available for late night dining, only about 4 select items.

Jerk box n mac 10/10 omg right amount of spice. Nice size chicken the thigh was my favorite piece of the chicken. Mac and cheese bomb as always. Cheesy and tasty. Literally some of my fav Mac. The sweet potato bread pudding 2/10 like i can taste the sweet potato. But the texture and taste of the bread pudding just wasn't it. Service was great. Place is cute favorite thing is the signs/mirrors.

The worst Veggie Rasta Pasta I've ever tasted. It has a vinegary taste and the sauce isn't sauce at all but some cheese melted over the noodles and veggies. In addition, the dish was advertised at 20.00 dollars on Yelp but when my order was rung up I was charged 31.00 WOW!!! I told the cashier and she said this is the price. I won't be back. If anyone knows of a place that has great Rasta Pasta let me know, cause this ain't it. I guess that's why it's named Jerk at Nite for the folks that are drunk or high and just famished.
