JAM was AMAZING! I was looking for a good breakfast spot not too far from BWI and I came across this place - VERY pleased. Service was fast, food was good, prices were very reasonable and only 15 minutes from the airport! I don't believe they take reservations; however, there is a wait list that you can put your name on prior to arriving at the restaurant. When we put our name on the waitlist we were seated within 30 minutes and there were over 30 parties ahead of us. I got the mimosa flight and it was basically 4 stemless champagne flutes filled with greatness. The flight was the perfect mixture of champagne juice - with just enough juice to give flavor but you can still taste the champagne. My husband got the Brandy Alexander and he said it was good. I also had a friend order the Guava Tequila Sour and she LOVED it. The drinks are also Amazingly priced (especially considering the price of brunch drinks in DC + Baltimore Regions). Now, time for the food! I'll start by saying I wasn't the biggest fan of the Fruity Pebbles Pancake....but I also 100% blame myself because I don't like fruity pebbles. I order it based on the aesthetic (it looked so good in pictures) and looks wise it did not disappoint. I'm not saying it's nasty - but if you don't like fruity pebbles this pancake is not going to change that for you lol. The Three little Pigs Omelet was good and so was the Breakfast Sampler! My friend seemed to really like the Strawberry Shortcake French Toast! BUT, the REAL STAR OF THE SHOW is the CHURRO WAFFLE! The Churro Waffle was AMAZING! It was so good that we ordered another one just because. Truly 10/10.

I had high expectations as some people had given it really good reviews. My daughter & I decided to give it a try. I ordered The Ranchero omelette which looked really good, tasted good but was skimpy on the chorizo . My daughter's Kitchen Sink omelette also looked good but alas, it tasted bland . We both had to liven it up with lots of Cholula hot sauce .Service was great, expedient & attentive !It was crowded when we went but amazingly not noisy so a good relaxing place to eat

Didn't realize this was a happening spot on a weekday morning! We went midmorning on a Thursday.Ordered quite a few things just to try it out. Steaks Benedict : steak was great! Tender and cooked to the requested temp (med rare). Hollandaise sauce was delicious, but the eggs were overcooked. Otherwise, good and fairly priced Veggie Crepe : I know what a crepe is, and this was not it. It's more of pliable tortilla than a pancake. The filling was tasty, the plating was pretty. overall it was an above average dish. Ordered a side of sweet potato fries, which was as expected.Fruity Pebble Pancake. Was it amazing? No, but it was fun to look at and it was tasty. We had impeccable service. Our waitress was very friendly and was prompt with getting the food to our table. The restaurant is in a small business park area, next to the Dunkin Donuts and other food places. The parking is a little tight and quite annoying, but if the lot is full, there is a parking garage close by. Inside is a large area with an open kitchen. Lots of seating. Bathrooms are individual rooms, which is a nice touch. The restaurant is very clean and well lit.

Maybe I ordered the wrong dish, but JAM was not as impressive as how it's been hyped up to be. Food was good, but not great. Service is fast and I liked seeing the manager come out and help his employees. My mom and I both got omelettes: the Ranchero and Kitchen Sink. The Ranchero was tasty, but definitely skimped on the chorizo. On the other hand, the kitchen sink was not seasoned enough and tasted a bit bland. I was a little shocked that the price was $19 for the omelettes (while $16 on the website). Our waitress said the menu had JUST changed for the day to account for the rising price of eggs. In my opinion, I prefer IHOP - the omelette I get there is $18, huge, and comes with pancakes. On a sweet note, it was my birthday and our waitress was kind enough to notice and order us a complimentary birthday waffle dish! That was such a nice treat!

I recently visited JAM Eateries and had such a great experience that I had to come back the following week with my husband! The first time I came, I had the breakfast platter with scrambled eggs and cheese, bacon, home fries, and the strawberry shortcake pancakes. Those pancakes were so good, I had to get them again on my second visit! I also tried the braised rib hash, which was fantastic. Our server, Mariah, was absolutely amazing. She was so attentive and her personality was infectious, making the whole dining experience even better. I also tried the mimosa flight, and let me tell you, by the end of the meal, I was a little tipsy (in the best way)! All the flavors were delicious, and I was having a great time. I just wished we could hear some music. That would have set the ultimate vibe. My husband did ask Jeff if they would consider adding red velvet waffles to the menu...he said he will see what he can do. Lol if that happens, my husband will want to go back every week. Hahaha. We ended up getting dessert to go, and while the red velvet cake wasn't my favorite, the banana pudding definitely made up for it. I'll definitely be back soon. JAM Eateries is a new favorite for me.

My wife and I hit up JAM Eateries in Ellicott City for Sunday brunch, and it did not disappoint! Our server, Mariah, was super friendly and bubbly--she made the whole experience even better. We started with the mimosa flight (all four flavors were excellent), then I had the chicken and waffles with hot honey on the side and eggs, while my wife enjoyed the spare rib hash and two strawberry shortcake pancakes. Everything was delicious! It was like "don't talk to me while I'm eating" good. Lol The place was packed, but we joined the waitlist about an hour early and got seated shortly after we got there--clutch move.To wrap things up, we grabbed some dessert for later because, why not? A slice of red velvet cake for each of us, and I couldn't resist a banana pudding. Listen, I've got a sweet tooth and a high metabolism--don't judge me!We'll definitely be back for another Sunday date day. JAM Eateries is where it's at if you you're in Ellicott City/ Columbia and want great food, good vibes, and mimosas that make your weekend! Mariah and Jack (Part owner/manager) are really cool too. We'll be back, for sure!

I came here one Monday for some brunch as weekend gets extremely crazy and I am not sure if it's worth to wait an hour or two for brunch. This restaurant formally was called "Eggspectation". We had Americano, Crab cake bites, Shrimp and Grits, Omelette and Mimosa sampler. Crab cake had little bit of smell. Shrimp and Grits were very bland and no taste to it. Omelette was pretty average. Mimosa sampler was great. Our server was amazing. She was very attentive to us. Ambiance is pretty good. I don't think they did any inside renovation. I would say it's pretty average breakfast place and not a place where it's worth the wait.

Amazing option for a brunch date in Ellicott City! The restaurant has a modern-like feel to it, lots of paintings around of contemporary pop artists. Shoutout to Drake & Taylor Swift whom I dined with to my right. Host is sweet, service is pretty standard. I went for the classic breakfast combo, which came with my choice of eggs (I got sunny side up), meat (I got bacon), carb (I chose pancake), and fries (which I modified instead of home fries). Solid breakfast, 4/5, I asked for chocolate chip pancakes and they gave me regular but that's okay. Everything was fresh and tasted good, but the pancakes were a bit overdone. My girlfriend got the short rib bowl which came with potatoes, peppers, and her choice of sunny side up eggs. The short rib was excellent, some of the best I've had. The home fries were tasty as well, coming from someone who prefers regular fries, and the entire bowl was really good overall. Her portion was a bit small, which I wasn't too happy about but it was very tasty nonetheless. Great food! I'd recommend this place!

If you're a late brunch eater like me, this is your place! They have an extensive menu ranging from breakfast foods and juices to lunch options. We were immediately seated with no wait time. I already knew what I was ordering so we ordered our food with our drinks. Our food did not take long at all and was very good. The white cheddar grits were amazinggggg; they were so creamy!!Make this your next place for breakfast or brunch!!

It just wasn't anywhere I would go again. Fried potatoes too hard, seafood omelet was cold & had too much cheese in it. Waiter was wonderful (Mariah).
