This lovely community market offers Great international foods and household goods; as well as has a restaurant for popular Cuisine. There is also a small area of the store for health and wellness items. The staff are always welcoming and helpful.

The food isn't terrible but the prices don't match the food. I ordered the Torta de pollo and was told the chicken was freshly fried and it most definitely wasn't.

Fun place. As a Caucasian, it's easy to feel intimidated by this joint. Don't be. Excellent cheeses, all sorts of chilis and peppers both fresh and canned and a lot more. Get some tacos and tortes from the cantina. Get your Mexican coke and jarritos fix here too. Sunday's they have carnitas and consume in hot pots in front of the meat counter and I'm only scratching the surface of this place. Also, about 200 piñatas hang from the ceiling for your next party.

Jalapeño market has great authentic Hispanic groceries and food. There are several items I usually cannot find in typical grocery stores like Whole Foods or Safeway. There is a restaurant at the side that offers $2 tacos, birria tacos, and other assorted baked breads and goods - all reasonably priced. Some store associates only speak Spanish, so if you don't speak Spanish it could be a bit difficult to navigate. However, they will find someone who does speak English, and everyone is very kind. The ambiance of the store is also great

I came here today for lunch. I ordered the carnitas taco, al pastor taco, and a pollo loco taco. All three were really good! The carnitas taco was a little plain but the tacos came with a side of lime, radish, and sauce so it worked out. I also got some bread. It was soft and tasted really good. The back of the store is a little dimly lit and would benefit from some better lighting but overall this is the best Hispanic grocery store I have been to.

Huge supermarket with high ceilings and a dedicated bakery with dine-in seating. There are lots of unique food, snacks, and beverages from Latin America that you wouldn't be able to find in a traditional grocery store. They also have fresh produce. The prices are fairly affordable. I would shop here again.

I have been here multiple times for food and have always had a good experience, but the most recent time I ordered esquites (elote but in a cup) and about 1/4 of the way into eating it I pulled this small bone out of the cup. I did some research and can't find anything saying why this would even be in there. I saw something relating to using chicken bones for stock but that is definitely not a chicken bone.
