Iron Rooster

Following a yearly tradition where my family eats breakfast together then cuts down a fresh Christmas tree at a nearby farm, we came to Iron Rooster this year. Our service by Alex P was exceptional. She was very friendly and enthusiastic on an early Saturday morning. She talked us into sharing the Strawberry Cheesecake RoosTart - so yummy! We also enjoyed unlimited coffee refills, biscuits and gravy, brisket hash, chicken and waffles, and chicken pesto flatbread. The food here is great, the restaurant open and spacious, and the service today - amazing.

Food is good. For the most part, dishes have great flavors and plated well. Service is another story. When we walked in, it was not busy. There isn't a lot of attentiveness and apparently communication either. A server took our order and then another showed and seemed bewildered that someone had already taken our order because it was her section. First coffee we got wasn't really more than room temperature, but we let that slide, mainly because it seemed like few servers.Our breakfasts showed hot, but then our server disappeared. We wanted refills and ended up asking the bewildered server to bring us coffee. She disappeared. Original server showed back up with the check and we asked her for coffee. She left the check, said she'd be back and she disappeared. Other girl showed with the pot about 10 minutes later. This is not the first time that we have been here this has happened. Not sure it's a training issue or lack of staff. I'd hate to be here with it busier. It's sad when I want to spend cash to support restaurants and it becomes easier to deal with it on my own.

Well today's visit was horrible and apparently got kicked out.Entered around noon so expected a wait and was told 10 min. That's fine considering it's 12 on a Saturday.Go to table not even 3 min later host takes the utensils and I said we need them and a kids menu. "You need a kids menu?" Yes for the kid. I get it but at that point you saw both of us.Fine no problem. Asked server if it's the same online cause I had no issues looking at my phone for it. They came and placed it fine thanks.Server came back are you ready?No we just got menus we need a min30 seconds later ready now?Just had my kid order his juice30 seconds later are you ready?I said I was aggravated but before I could say I'll flag you down I need a minute they took the menu away was hit with it and the manager no where near us said that never happened and kicked us out.Being a regular here for ages and that's how you treat people. Well I'm sorry if I was trying to say I need a minute cause I'm aggravated meant anything but since they didn't ask if they could take the menus away they just did it made me a paying regular upset then fine. Not hurting me. I don't have to drive 30 min to this location I can go to the horrible one in canton that isn't as good as your location 10 min from me.At least there they give people time to look at the menu and take a breather.Maybe next time when somebody says they are aggravated and still trying to speak to let them. All I was trying to tell the server since it wasn't their fault other than coming to the table every 30 seconds like they had somewhere to be was to give the table time. You aren't fast food and it felt like today was a rush day. That's fine. Can't wait to see what the manager who wasn't close to the table says in response. It never happened is what he will say since he wasn't even there. I came in like usual and no issues and couldn't even be given two minutes to look at the menu or just calm my self but no.

We've been ordering breakfast for delivery from Iron Rooster for years. I've been in for lunch, but never breakfast. We had family in town and decided to try it out. We were seated quickly but it took about 10mins for someone to come to our table. We had a toddler, so it felt like a lifetime (iykyk). We ordered everything at once and they didn't write anything down, so inevitably a few things came out wrong. Which was fine with me bc mine was right and my family that got wrong orders didn't feel like saying anything. My food was delicious, I got the brisket hash. It was lacking a little zazz, so I put their fire honey on it and wow, it slayed. We got my son the face pancake, which he usually gets. I asked about the mini roostart that comes with it and she said, all the kids meals come with it except that one. Which annoyed me a little bit bc when you order for delivery it comes with one, so why would you get less for coming in to eat? Idk. Another thing that was annoying was we didn't get waters and we got no refills on drinks. We will try another location next time or just stick to ordering in bc we do enjoy the food.

Yummy food, convenient location, and we always have great service when we go! This is a larger space so I feel there isn't a huge wait even on their really busy days. Lots of parking available as well!

Iron Rooster has to be by far the best breakfast I have ever had. When I say the food is delicious I mean the food is delish!It was my birthday and my sister surprised me with breakfast and even when the food arrived it was still fresh. The eggs, the waffles I mean everything was just right. You have to try it. See the pictures for yourself.

Me and my daughter decided to go to Saturday brunch 12/28 at the Hunt Valley location ... wasn't crowded , had maybe a 5-7 wait . Once seated our server Naveon was at our table within 2 min prepared to take our drink order.. I must say Naveon gave Top Tier service ... my food was great ... I ordered crab Hash with a side of French toast. I will be returning for this meal , hopefully the server is there as well ..

The restaurant is clean and service is fast! Went on a Saturday morning and it was quiet & food was great! There will be a slight wait on Sunday mornings.

Eh.Food was good to ok, but service, while very friendly, was subpar. Honestly, I think management needs to retrain the staff, as I'd don't feel the servers were intentionally obtuse, I think they just didn't know better? Examples- we were served food with no silverware, waffles with no syrup, bottomless coffee was hard to track down. Took a while for us to even get water. Within 3-4 minutes of being seated, we should've had water on the table. Had a reservation which was honored.Started w/ a brown sugar pop tart which was delicious and probably the meal highlight. I got an eggs Benedict which was good, potatoes were cold.Overall, the food was fine but the staff needs help. As I said, they were friendly but too many mistakes for a well established restaurant.

Everything I had here has been very good and customer service has been excellent.They has breakfast all day.
