Iron Bridge has been serving fine dining and pair the experience with amazing wine selections for over 20 years. They are conveniently located in Columbia Maryland.Dining has become too fast paced, with the focus being on turning tables. Iron Bridge is different. They have always provided a dining experience. The menu is always changing and highlights local sources. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or just grab a quick nibble and wine at the bar. Don't forget to finish your meal with the Crème brûlée or the bread puddling!

We have been going to Iron Bridge for years. It's a great restaurant and you can treat it as a wine retailer as well.Solid options to check out:1. A superior cheese and charcuterie selection2. The duck confit croquttes. Perfectly fried but that richness is cut through and balanced with a slightly spicy jalapeno marmalade and tang from a candied lemon.3. The fennel and citrus salad. Generous portions of mixed greens, shaved fennel plus marcona Almonds and shaved parm. The honey dijon vinaigrette is very balanced and dresses the salad well.4. Any of their steak options including the bistro steak with frites. Perfectly cooked and seasoned with a nice char. 5. Superior wine selection. A few minor issues keep this from being a 5 Star. Sometimes the pacing is a little off with too many dishes coming at once. This is a bigger problem because their plates are large but their tables are small. Logistics: Parking on the side and back. Reservations via Open Table. Curbside take out via Toast https://order.toasttab.com/online/iron-bridge-wine-companyBottom line is this a great date night option with a strong wine list and elevated food choices. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and portions.

Overall: 3 stars at best. The wine inventory was excellent, but the food not so great.Ambiance: 5 stars. Excellent presentation. Clean and spacious.Service: 5 Star. The staff was friendly and attentive.Parking: 3 stars. OK, but limited if you have a full house.Food: 3 stars at best. The presentation was excellent, but the food itself was not that great. Maybe the wine is supposed to make up for it, but if you expect a quality meal, you will probably be disappointed considering the high prices.

After passing this place several times my husband finally brought me here for my birthday dinner. We made a reservation for a Sunday evening and were seated immediately upon arrival. The inside is so cozy but there are options for small and large group seatings, would highly making a reservation especially if it's a larger group. There is a very wide selection of wines, and even some that can be ordered for takeout at heavily discounted prices. Our waiter did a whole run through of the menu- there are lots of options for beverages besides the wines, some really cool cocktails as well, prices ranging from $11-$19 or so. The appetizers had a variety of seafood and protein options, flat bread, etc and we opted for the pork belly paired with sauerkraut -it was super tasty! My main course was a weekend special pasta dish which came with shrimps. It had a spicy kick to it but not overwhelmingly, the portion was just right but I wouldn't have mind a little bit more because it was really good. We skipped dessert because I had so much sweets waiting for me at home but there were also a selection of dessert options on a separate menu. Got how busy it was, the service was pretty swift and our waiter was very attentive and helpful when we requested for assistance. Definitely worth it for an intimate meal.

I had a wonderful experience at Icon Bridge Winery about 2 weeks ago. I met up with a few friends to catch-up and we could not have chosen a better place! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the wines. She actually recommended some great wines that definitely fit my palate. The food was AMAZING. I ordered the calamari to start. The calamari was lightly fried, perfectly seasoned and the dipping sauce was delicious! I chose the tile fish as the entree, which was exactly how the server described. Light, buttery, and cooked perfectly. The portion size was way larger than expected, too. I made sure I ate half of it, in order to save room for dessert and I am glad that I did.Last but not least, my dessert (not pictured) was delicious as well. I went for the chocolate mouse cheesecake and it totally exceeded my expectations. It was decadent, but light, filling, with an oreo cookie crust and topped with strawberries. Oddly enough the third wine that I selected in my flight paired very well with the dessert.Iron Bridge Wine Co. has definitely joined my list of favorites and I look forward to dining there again!

We went back to Iron Bridge to have dinner with some friends. We had the monkfish, lamb, and octopus. Everything was pretty good -- nothing too crazy! The ambiance was nice and cozy. The service was really good! We would definitely go again!

Made a reservation to dine here with a friend on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. Immediately upon walking in we were approached by a staff member who abruptly said "We don't have any tables cleaned off but you can eat at the bar if you don't want to wait." No "welcome in" or "do you have a reservation?" It was a bit off putting and kind of rude. I told the staff member that we had a reservation and she said it would be ready in a few minutes. Ok, that's perfectly fine. The staff member, who also happened to also be our server, sat us a few minutes later. The service was fine but she just wasn't very friendly. Maybe we caught her after a rough lunch rush- I'm not sure. The food was good but not spectacular. I ordered the lobster ravioli with capers and it was tasty. My only complaint was that it was swimming in butter which I don't think was necessary for the dish. A light brown butter sauce would have been better and was what I was expecting. The capers that were on top were crispy and added a nice texture to the ravioli. I also ordered the truffle fries. which were delicious. For dessert, I had the Nutella cheesecake mousse- yum! My favorite part of the meal. I would come back to check out their dinner menu I was just a bit thrown off by the service. I'm hoping it was just a bad day for the server.

This is our third time going to Iron Bridge but first time for lunch. My husband brought me here for a birthday lunch and it was great. We got the grilled octopus for an app and it was probably my favorite bite of the day. So good, simple and delicious. I got the halibut burger and my husband got the regular burger. Both were really good. The creme brûlée for dessert was fantastic! Service was great too!

This is a small, cozy venue that verges on being a bit cramped. We we came specifically and only for dessert, so that's all I can speak to. I actually ended up getting the 1983 chateau dessert wine, which was genuinely delightful. This is a nice local spot that has a family-owned feel, I'm pretty sure the owner was hanging out there, and it is a great place for dates. It can get pretty crowded, so even after you're seated, sometimes it can take a while for the server to come around, but they're very courteous and helpful. The only negative we had was that The Love Shack was a little watered down but not overly upset given that this place is known for their wines, and their Blazon Cabernet Sauvignon was amazing. This was part of a birthday celebration, so we bought the kids along with us but will probably go back again for a proper date without them.
