I'm so glad I had the opportunity to come here finally. I've always heard great things about Illusions, and I can conquer that they were true.This place is most definitely a vibe. They have a whole DJ section, the decorum is so chic and it's got a sense of "maturity" to it. I came here with my sister to celebrate her birthday, and the server we had was so so sweet. I loved the food A LOT. Everything was cooked so well, my favorite part of the meal was the Angel Eggs. I could eat 10 lol. The cocktails were also so good, dangerous even I can see why people come here to vibe and just have a good time. For the quality of the food, and all the different things my sister and I received, the bill was reasonably priced. Everything on the menu is affordable. I'm definitely coming back for more. Side note: They gave my sister a complimentary dessert for her birthday! Much appreciated.

When I heard that this restaurant stays booked, I had to give it a try. The decor is beautiful and many took advantage of the back drops for selfies and group photos. Though we came for, there was a DJ and dim lighting. The staff was efficient. The food was fine, however the atmosphere was the highlight!

Omggg what an incredible Brunch spot! I was taken here for my birthday and I had an amazing time! The food was flavorful , the atmosphere and ambiance was breathtaking and the DJ kept the music playing! Everything on the menu was delicious!!!! They offer an unlimited Mimosas with their brunch. The prices are fair. On Sundays there is an all you can eat brunch! Ican't wait to come back again!

I've been following Illusions Restaurant & Bar on Instagram for a while and was excited to finally check it out for Sunday brunch. This Black-owned spot in Anne Arundel County definitely caught my attention. I made my reservation via ig DM, which they confirmed through Toast Tab, choosing the 11 AM-1 PM seating.Our server, Jasmine?, was attentive, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was amazing. The DJ brought all the energy, and the ambiance was stunning, from the green wall to the LED lights. It's definitely a beautiful spot to celebrate and vibe out.The brunch is $55 per person, with bottomless mimosas for an additional $25. For two of us, the total came to about $250, which included a few specialty cocktails. I ordered the Mango Mimosa, and my fiancé had the Pineapple Mimosa. We also tried specialty cocktails--the Peach on the Beach for him (he found it a bit weak) and the Hennything Goes for me. Although they were out of Hennessy, the bartender improvised with Woodford Reserve, and my drink turned out strong and flavorful.Brunch features a buffet with a variety of options, but I found the food to be on the cooler side and felt it could have been spread out more for easier access. There was a long line at times. However, you can also order items made to order through your server, which adds a nice touch. The cornbread and biscuits brought to the table were warm and delicious, and a highlight was the complimentary round of shots offered to the entire restaurant--a fun and generous gesture.They are very strict about their seating times, and by 12:45 PM, the lights came on to prepare for the next seating. Parking is free, which is always a plus.Overall, I'd give Illusions a solid 7.5/10. It's a great place for celebrations, good vibes, and gorgeous decor, but there's room for improvement in the food's presentation and temperature. I'd definitely return for the ambiance and experience!

Five star service, food and atmosphere! Cash is that girl and that mixologist! Whoever aunt made these collard greens deserves a raise! They have a DJ and Live music. Definitely a must!

Great location, with plenty of seats. Stopped by on a Wednesday, the DJ was spinning some great music. Our waitress was attentive and service was fast. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and my friend got the Rasta Pasta. The shrimp had a great flavor but the grits were too loose, almost soupy which actually took away from the experience. My friend enjoyed her meal. I'm hoping it was an off day with grits. I'll try them out again in the future.

I-LEW-sions!I'm in town visiting my boyfriend who lives in Glen Burnie and made brunch reservations here after finding it in TikTok. Our slot was 11-1 which they will cancel if you aren't there on time but even though we got there around 11:30, we were still seated and had plenty of time to eat. I did the brunch buffet option with the bottomless mimosas. Everything, and I do mean everything I got on my plate was bomb. Usually there's always at least one thing that isn't that great when it comes to buffets but I can honestly say everything I ate was a 10/10. For a split second I thought I was back in Texas the way the catfish was fried to perfection. If you're from Houston, this place is basically Phil & Derek's ala 2016. The DJ was great and our server was also very nice. They came around and passed out shots to all the birthday people and pm those celebrating with them. The buffet brunch was $55/person and $20 bottomless mimosas which is kinda pricy but if you consider food, drinks, and atmosphere it's worth it. I'd definitely come back especially for dinner next time.

Went for a bday brunch on a Sunday recently and was not disappointed. For 55.00 you have access to an unlimited buffet and a banging DJ. The DJ jammed so hard, my party barely ate its food.On the buffet were your standard brunch items: bacon, sausage, potatoes and French toast. Then there were some other items: collard greens, yams, salmon cakes and etc. I will say the buffet had a little something for everyone. And then you had your made to order items: fried catfish, shrimp and grits, Belgian waffles, steak and eggs. They truly do give you your monies worth for your 2 hr window. My party went at the 11am hr so it wasn't as turnt as I imagine the other time slots being. For an additional 15 bucks you can sip unlimited mimosas. The service was courteous and swift. The decor was standard grass walls and fluorescent wall fixtures. I'n definitely patronizing again!

Baybee!!! People having been buzzing about Illusions Restaurant and Bar since they opened their doors and I can see why!! My friend celebrated her 40th bday here this past Friday and let me say this, it was definitely a night she will remember forever!! A time was had! The restaurant is located in Glen Burnie, which is epic for this area. As a proud Anne Arundel county girl, we would normally have to travel to Baltimore or D.C. for this vibe! The location is very convenient, safe, with plenty of free parking. The decor is what you would expect from a lounge- type restaurant. Trendy and a bit typical, but it was clean which is what's most important. The cleanliness extended to the bathroom as well. The dining room is nice and open, with plenty of space between the tables. There are also TVs throughout the restaurant and on this particular Friday, there was a DJ. I'm not sure if that's normal for a weekend night, but he definitely did what needed to be done.Our server, Cody, was the absolute best! He was very personable and attentive. We were not sitting for hours waiting for him to take our order and our food came out in a timely fashion. He also made sure we had plenty of water and that our drinks were constantly refreshed.I ordered three of their blueberry drinks with gin, I am kicking myself for not remembering the name of the drink. The drinks were nice and strong, just like I like them! They were also offering five dollar green tea shots, so we ordered a few of those. As for my meal, I had the angel eggs and the catfish with grits. Both dishes were super flavorful. I had some leftover catfish and grits and it was just as good the next day.Ten of us dined during our visit. Now, I will warn you, they do not spilt checks, which I personally don't mind. But if you have any of those "who ordered the gratuity" type friends, this may not work for you. We opted to split the check nine ways, minus is the birthday girl and were able to pay using multiple cards.I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Illusions Restaurant and Bar! I definitely will be back to try their Sunday brunch! Wishing much success to this establish, we need more places like this to patronize!!

Mediocre food at best event the Caesar salad wasn't good they dressing wasn't good. It tasted like they mixed Caesar dressing and thousand island quite disgusting. The fries were good though the service was also decent. They had karaoke and it was nice
