Ichiban Hibachi & Sushi

Ichiban Hibachi & Sushi offers a nice selection of dishes, with around 7 or 8 signature sushi options that are quite tasty. The teriyaki chicken, shrimp, and beef are definitely the standout choices and are always prepared well. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, which is a big plus.However, the dining experience can be somewhat lacking due to the very limited seating--there are only about 4 tables inside. Additionally, I've encountered rude service on more than one occasion, which has been disappointing. If it weren't for the unwelcoming treatment, I would have rated this place higher. Overall, the food is great, but the service needs improvement.

My husband and I craved Hibachi for lunch but were mindful of our budget. Remembering the generous portions at Ichiban Hibachi & Sushi from our previous visit, we opted to order from there. It is located in a small, yet busy shopping center with a nail salon, gym, and supermarket with plenty of free parking. The inside has minimal seating for dining it. We chose the Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki with white rice and added noodles for an extra dollar To Go. The meal was ample enough to share among ourselves and our toddler, with leftovers to spare! The taste was exceptional, and the friendly staff ensured accurate orders. The food arrived fresh and hot, and they were not stingy with the condiments. Don't hesitate to give them a try!

I'm not a big a fan of this. Sushi and other entrees are pretty mediocre in my opinion. My wife does like this place! So maybe give it a try! Prices are decent, I usually order for pick up

We order from here regularly because it's near us and always has decent sushi. I've never had any issues with customer service and my food is always ready for pick up when I arrive. There is some seating, but I wouldn't enjoy sitting down there myself.The sushi is always decent and ok to me. It is a decent size and satisfies the craving. My partner however loves it and always thinks it's really good.

Small shop with tables to eat-in or wait for your food, there is a bathroom for patrons. Friendly staff and good portions served. I enjoy this place to grab lunch en route to/from work. The food quality seems good and about what you'd expect from a nice local carry-out, it's not 5 star Michelin or anything but it tastes good and isn't overly greasy.

Voted most likely to give me food poisoning. HALFWAY through my meal I started googling how to report to AACounty Health Dept.Restaurant/ service? Cold, dirty. I served myself in BTW the cashier cooking and answering the phone. RESTAURANT HAD NO HEAT IN 40 DEGREE WEATHER.GYOZA- mystery meat. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT WAS.SUSHI- didn't smell bad. However I heard the man making sushi rolls start to cough and sneeze. When I turned my head he was in the process of rolling someone's sushi dinner. UGHHHHH. Both he and the cashier turned to look at me. THE SHRIMP TEMPURA ROLL WAS MORE BATTER THAN SHRIMP. I GUESS CRUNCHIES? Cashier jumped on the skillet and stove multiple times while man was rolling raw sushi. NO ONE WASHED their hands. GROSS. I prayed I wouldn't get sick or food poisoning. I washed my meal down with soapy tasting, boiling hot miso soup which I can only hope killed whatever bacteria might have been brewing. 10/10 do not recommend.

Love this place! Very addicting!!! Food is always great! I have not had any issues here. Sometimes they are a little late with orders because of how busy they get.

Today, we were CRAVING chicken teriyaki. Decently priced for the amount of food. Got double chicken teriyaki and the sauce was great. Unfortunately, the fried rice tasted very ricey and not seasoned well. Definitely need the yum yum sauce for the rice. Spring rolls were okay, but had more of a milky consistency in the middle.Jake n kev

Discovered this gem a few months back. When they say hibachi, it's mostly just bento boxes. We haven't tried them yet but they look good and it always smells amazing when you walk in. Don't be deceived by looks, this hole in the wall spot is great. We've tried a ton of different rolls and while the selection is maybe less than 20 roll types to choose from, they make up for it in taste. It's good sushi for a cheap price. I recommend the Japanese Bagel Roll. I'm not sure why they went with that name since it doesn't have much in common with bagels. We also like Amazing Eel Roll, but every roll we've tried was good. Definitely a place worth coming back to!!

I tried looking past the bad reviews and giving them a try. When i called, i asked if they served steak hibachi and they said yes. when i picked up my order. there was no steak?? just some whack beef and rice. Felt like i was scammed. honestly your money is best spent somewhere else. i DO NOT RECOMMEND.
