I love this place! LADIES! Don't be scared - Iamps is awesome and the regular patrons are good people. The drinks are on point if you like the basics and service from bartenders ranges anywhere from Coach at Cheers to the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld but if you're cool - they got ya.

The local bar you never knew you needed in your life! Great atmosphere, great service, and once in awhile they have drink specials! They've got multiple tv's for all the sports and a liquor store next door. You can have some food delivered, play some music on the jukebox, enjoy your drink of choice and relax. 10/10, will drink there again.

Love this place. No one comes here to "meet people" or hook-up. It's a neighborhood-Cheers-type of familiar place. Great bartenders, local company and not too pricey. Just need to chill, think or laugh? This is the spot. They don't serve food..so you can bring in food or order out.

AWESOME local bar. Family owned. Everyone behind the bar is beyond friendly. Drink specials weak!? Not enough woman!? Please go downtown for that then. Great CHEERS type of bar. Been going here for years. Not loud and the regulars are perfect. I've since moved and miss the hell out of this place.

It takes a certain type of person to appreciate Iampiere's. I have several Baltimore comrades who refuse to go here. The reason? It's trashy, lacks women and isn't the most happening place on a Friday or Saturday night. Yes, all of this is true, but the place has character - a lot of it.Ridiculously cheap drinks, friendly 'tenders and a slew of questionable, sometimes frightening locals. What more could you want? Go here, but keep your spirits high and your expectations very low. Some good things:- Cheap drinks all day every day- It's so gritty, so grimy, so local- Great bartenders - Willie! Chuck!- $1.50 "Bohronas" (Natty Boh + Lime)- Free foosball in the back- Access to/from the liquor store next door- Iampsfest summer music festival- Annual Christmas party - depressing? maybeTwo bad things:- Location (questionable edge of the city)- Parking, but you should walk/cab if you are serious

Very neat, somewhat no-thrills bar located on a quiet stretch along Edmondson Ave. Always a spot to sit at at the bar and the "regulars" seem very friendly and open to random conversation. Only real negative: very few women. Either way this is a great bar to grab a cold one with your buddies.

Was warned by both the bartenders upon my arrival about one of the regulars having issues with being really over the top with the few women who come in. Sure enough he zeroed in on me shortly after I sat down. The bartenders actually walked by to a couple times to ask if I was okay (red flag). Drinks were fine regulars were off putting to say the least.. Beware of a short guy with a rotten side tooth. I had to use a few tactics to get him to leave me alone.

I used to work at the bar back in the 70's. I am surprised to see it still rolling along. It was always a great neighborhood bar, a real eclectic group. Clientele ranged from corporate heads and judges to an occasional escapee. I used to work with Bob M and Birdsall. We had a great time. Who runs the place now. I started out with Gene and his Brother, then Tommy took over. There was one other relative (tall thin guy) who was a real rude jerk who used to stop by occasionally.
