I'll start by saying the owner was very friendly. But this food was absolutely horrible. He was reluctant to sell us biscuits because they clearly had been sitting there all day and were rock hard. Red beans and rice was a joke. I requested the gravy for my mash potatoes be put on the side because I am pescatarian and that request was ignored. My husband has an upset stomach currently from the chicken and the weird vinegar after taste of the red beans and rice. Everything tastes like old cooking oil. We won't be back and I am regretting that we ever stopped here.

Great place for a sandwich! I stopped here for an Italian grinder and it was very good. The staff was friendly and the food was prepared quickly. They have a lot of other food options on the menu also.

Since this is an around the way place I will give this place one more try. I feel that it's hard to judge this place on a dish that no one probably orders often.As I had my rice craving, I ordered the bulgogi to go. They obliged my probably odd request to keep it low on the sauce. (Some places overcompensate for 'Asian' taste by adding a lot of soy and sugar since that's generally what people think of.) Unfortunately, I can tell not many people order this. The rice was yellow in color and when I ate in I was chewing with a lot of effort because the rice was dried out, old perhaps. The main part, the bulgogi, so it wasn't a total fail but the peas in it tasted undercooked. This is a neighborhood deli, not Ellicott City, so I will try their other more mainstream options like sandwiches or breakfast next time.

The guy at the front counter is so friendly, he deserves five stars just for his customer service. Every time I come in he greets me and chats. I had one bad experience ordering here a while back, but the staff has changed since then and my sandwich was amazing. A genuinely good deli sandwich made by someone who was happy to prepare it how I wanted. Really happy to have this place in the neighborhood!

They have really good chicken wings and sandwiches. Stopped by here as I was passing by and they are pretty friendly and pleasant to deal with. No tables to eat at inside but they had a variety of goods/foods to choose from.

Got a sandwich there today (the jalapeno roast beef sub), very no-frills, but delicious. I didn't realize this place was more of a convenience store than a restaurant, but that just gives you more options for any sides, desserts, etc. For me it was Cheez-Its.Also, the service was spectacular - everyone was so nice!I'll definitely be back.

I always come here after playing basketball or whenever a sandwich craving hits me. Extremely good sandwiches with high quality ingredients and their fried chicken is to die for! A great selection of drinks and their service is always quite speedy no matter the size of the order. And as the cherry on top the workers are extremely kind and willing to accommodate any range of odd orders! 10/10 would highly recommend coming here!
