I stopped by Hunt Valley Wine, Liquor & Beer a couple of weeks ago when I needed a couple bottles for a Rosh Hashanah picnic. The selection is fine, pretty standard. I wish they offered more wine-related needs (cups, glasses, wine openers, etc.), since it's a pretty large space, but it's a pretty limited inventory. The service wasn't great either, unfortunately; I was walking around looking for cups and staff walked by but didn't ask if I needed any help. I eventually found someone to ask, who confirmed they didn't have what I'd been wandering around looking for. Overall, just an okay wine shop. Good in a pinch if you're in the area.

Count me among those who will not return. And here's why.Its website says Hunt Valley "will match any competitor's current advertised price" ad.You'll note it has an asterisk (*), and it doesn't denote Roger Maris's home run total. It means they really don't mean it -- *As long as compliant with MD pricing law."What does that actually mean? Maryland doesn't fix liquor prices. It just means Hunt Valley is too cheap and mean-spirited to actually match competitors such as Pine Orchard Liquors.Sales people here are OK. But beware those who inquire about pricing at the "service desk." Be prepared for bait-and-switch. There oughta be a law. Until there is, I vote with my feet.

Wall to wall of spirits, wine, and beer. There are wines from California, Maryland, and all the way from Spain and Italy and more. They have white and red wine to dry to sweet varieties. The prices are reasonable compared to most local stores. What I came in for they didn't have, which I was not mad at. We didn't walk out empty handed. They have a restroom, which is a good incentive. There is always help available. And they offer boxes and cardboard to protect your cargo

Hunt Valley Wine is a pretty big liquor store at the open air mall in Hunt Valley. It's laid out in a warehouse style, and definitely a good place to go if you need to pick something up. For such a big place, the selection isn't fantastic. They probably have the brand of whiskey you're looking for, but maybe not every variety. There were a lot of signs about club cards and club pricing, but I'm not sure what that was all about. They didn't ask me about it at the register, so I don't know if it's actually needed for sale prices or not.

Stopped by while my wife was shopping elsewhere in the mall and lucked into a Bordeaux tasting. Found some great wines at very fair prices. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Scotch selection was scant.

For wine...they don't have a deep selection, but what they do carry has the lowest prices of any wine store in the area. I've shopped them all. They only carry wines that are very good for their price point. It's hard to find something that isn't good for the price. My only wish is that they carry more variety, but thats not their business model. For what it is, its good for my wallet. I go here all the time, and I highly recommend this store to a wine geek. Their regular price for good wine is the lowest in the area. And ditto for beer too. A no-brainer for almost any of us.

Great selection of beers, wine and liquor. All at a great price. The cheapest place in the hunt valley area. It's one of the only liquor stores I go to. I recommend it for everyone. They do a pretty good mix your own 6.

Worst customer service everI went in to buy beer and I did not have my ID I am 67 years old and was told I could not purchase any beer or liquor without a photo id. I ask to speak to someone who could obviously see I was generations away from 21 and the assistant manager said no Id , no purchases. I always have my license with me but could not find it so I was hoping someone could make an executive reasonable decision One and that's only because they had the beer

I went inside to look for a gift and an employee who was stocking shelves with cases of liquor using a high loader practically drove it into me. No excuse me. No I'm sorry. How rude! Won't shop here ever. Learn some safety and social skills!

I use to be a fairly regular shopper at this location, but I won't shop there again. While checking out the manager Travis tried to mask shame me, because I had a small mask on. As I was walking out he called me an asshole. Watch your back Travis!
