I really want to love this place. It's walking distance, which is hard to find in the suburbs, not to mention the food is quite cheap. However, everything here is a hit or miss. As for the hits: Kung Pao Chicken - some of the best I've had honestly. I like to add a touch of Sriracha and soy sauce though. Lo Mein - I've only had the shrimp variety, but it's surprisingly good. Big shrimp. But again, Sriracha and soy sauce. Crabmeat Wonton - had these just last night. Fantastic. Honestly the best thing I've had here, but also fairly expensive compared to the rest of the menu. I've also tried their General Tso chicken and wonton soup multiple times, but wasn't impressed. They need to improve their battering/frying of the chicken.

This is a place you can't even see from the outside, you have to be looking for it. It's my perfect neighborhood go-to for quick take out or delivery. They are consistent, the food is always good, the service is always good. It's a tiny hole in the wall, not a gourmet place to eat in. But for Friday night carry out it's perfect.

Placed an order online on 3/11/19 for lunch and an employee called to clarify. Something was lost in translation because when order was delivered it was incorrect.Food was very good but the employee's attitude was not very customer-friendly and needless to say, I will not be ordering from them any time in the near future.

Food: 2-3 at bestService: adequateQuantity: low-average for the price Kung pao chicken, $7.50 small w/ riceBowl full of green peppers, minimal chicken. Taste wasnt that good of the little chicken they had Szechuan chicken: $750 small. lacking as well. Low mein: $9 4/5Nothing fancy but decent. Get hot sauce and make it taste better. Bbq pork: 3/5 fatty and not fresh but the best part about this meal. Mongolian beef: $10A bowl full of onions and mediocre/subpar beefAll in all, if you are stuck and need food, ex lunch break or running late for dinner...not a terrible option. If you have time and want something better... Get it. Wouldn't return unless i was stuck.

Zero stars...I had the hot and sour soup which tasted like nothing! Thank goodness it was free for me! It was so bland, plain, tasteless, pointless, boring...You get the point yet? The menu claimed that the soup would have white meat chicken in it, which I've never heard of hot and sour soup having any meat in it...So, upon sipping the soup the chicken was hardly noticeable either except by minimal pieces of something with a texture of chicken. If it even was chicken! Then, they had the nerve to put one slice of mushroom in it!! Just once that was pointless to do as well. When I got home I had to flood it with soy sauce to add a little salt and flavor. It worked slightly because without a pound of added salt or soy sauce I would have thrown it away.I ordered with two other people and from their point of views the Egg Foo Young was plain and tasteless except for the egg tasting disgustingly like grease...glad I passed on that one. The other person has their fried chicken wings which when I had a piece of the meat tastes seasoned and maybe I could eat that, but I can't vouch for the skin. Health hazard with the chicken wing lunch special too...you're already getting fried wings then you get French fries and rice...overdose of starch but cool for the price, I guess? And prices are like a dollar more when compared to other chinese take out joints and the flavor of the food is not worth the price though still not expensive. You can sit in and take out...thought it would be good because I see a lot of people carrying out, but maybe soy sauce is their best friend too! I probably wouldn't go here again.

This was the worst Hunan wok food I have ever eaten. I have ordering from the eatery for 4 years, spent thousands of dollars buying mid day lunches at work and the quality of the food has progressively gotten worse over the past year. I may never order here again. The spicy dishes are no longer spicy even when I see the pepper flakes. The amount of shrimp in the shrimp and green beans have decreased. My shrimp and green beans arrived today like a mixture of sweet and sour shrimp mixed with a free green beans and bell pepper(horrible). I have had the same delivery driver for the last 2 years, not today. And to top it off when I call and inquire about the changes in the dish they say, we haven't changed anything. No reason for the lack of flavor, decreased portion or wrong dish. I miss the Hunan wok in Baltimore back in 2020-2023

Food was ok. Online menu items descriptions were different than the actual menu. So ended up getting something different. Not enough protein, in my opinion, for the price.

I enjoy the fact the food preparation is consistent from one Chef to another. Also that the front house staff is always pleasant. I've been a patron for nearly 15 years and have never had a complaint. Thumbs up
