2.6.25My hubby had lunch with his buddy and was sweet enough to order carryout for me. He ordered the honey chicken for himself and the general tso chicken for me. He got the wonton soup as the app and Jasmine rice and I got the spring roll and fried rice. He shared his leftover chicken with me and I shared a piece of my chicken with him. Our consensus was the general tso was tastier than the honey chicken. I thought my chicken was crispier and had better flavor. The spring roll was good and crispy too. The fried rice was bland so I had to add soy sauce.

Ohemgee, what a great little hidden gem!The interior takes me back to Chinese restaurants from my childhood. They even serve crunchy noodles before the meal. My general tso vegge chicken was great. It had a wonderful texture, and the flavor was spot on. I love tofu, but having a vegetarian option besides tofu is always nice. Pretty sure the owners are a couple, and they serve together, too. They were very nice and service was super fast. Highly recommend!

Human legend is a wonderful restaurant to visit when you're near elicott city. They started off with complimentary crispy noodles. I love the crispy noodles and to get the equivalent of free chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant is a genius move. For lunch I got the paradise chicken that came with an egg roll. The egg roll didn't come with shrimp inside but rather beef! It was fantastic, again something more places should offer. The paradise chicken was great and I might want to switch out the broccoli for rice next time. Yeah was an option instead of water. Everything was served very quickly. The decor was typical for a Chinese restaurant and clean. Loved this place.

Food:When it comes to Chinese food, I love the orange chicken and shrimp fried rice from Hunan Legend restaurant. However, today I decided to switch things up and order the ginger chicken with white meat, which was equally delicious. I love that I have the option to choose between white or dark meat. The ginger chicken was a perfect blend of bamboo shoots, green onions, and tender chicken in a tangy ginger sauce that perfectly complemented the cold weather.The shrimp fried rice is another one of my favorites that I order every time I visit the restaurant. The rice is fragrant, well-seasoned, and the shrimp is always de-veined and evenly distributed throughout the container.I am not a big fan of leftovers from restaurants, but Hunan is an exception. In fact, I often end up fighting over the leftovers with my family members. The ginger flavor of the chicken becomes more pronounced and bolder the next day, making it even more delicious. Service:As for the service, I was impressed with how quickly my food was ready. It only took 20 minutes for my order to be prepared and handed over to me.Ambiance:The restaurant itself has a traditional Chinese dining room ambiance, which is perfect for those who enjoy a cozy and warm atmosphere.Overall, Hunan Legend has the best fried rice in Howard County, and their lunch specials are a great value. The customer service is also top-notch, and you can choose to either have your food delivered or carry it out. It's a community staple that has been serving delicious Chinese food for over 20 years. We have been in the market for a replacement for our beloved Hunan Lion that closed several months ago in Elkridge, MD. We like authentic flavors, especially real, rich and sweet hoisin sauce used in dishes like Kung Pao Chicken or Chicken Cashew. You'll often see other places list the sauce they use as a "brown sauce." We also don't like a lot of 'fillers' in our dishes, like water chestnuts, huge chunks of bell peppers, celery, mini corn cobs.... We have always liked Hunan Manor, but they do not put spring onions in their Kung Pao Chicken or Chicken Cashew, which we believe are essential. There, we had to pay an up-charge just for the spring onions. Then a friend told us about Hunan Legend in the Dorsey's Search shopping center and we found our new Chinese spot. They even had their Morengo Delight that Hunan Lion had too. Although the Kung Pao could have been spicier, there were no fillers, just spring onions. We'll just ask for extra spicy next time. We will be back!

It's been years and before leaving the area I decided on the long walk to Dorsey Search. It's been some years since eating here. The bbq pork with mixed vegetables is prepared well. The vegetables are cooked properly, crunchy. The bbq pork is good. There's enough for two of you order extra rice. Hot tea, crispy noodles and a cookie are included. The service is good.

Been going to this location for more than 6 years and was always exceptional. Don't know if they changed Management but every item we purchased was if they tried to purchase cheaper items to serve.Won't return.
