I have ordered take out from this restaurant twice. The first time I ordered I got Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Hunan Style, White Rice, and Lo Mein. Since this location is further away, I reheated the wings in the oven and they were deliciously crispy. The Lo Mein wasn't the exact style I had hoped for and the Hunan Chicken was decent but I could tell the veggies weren't fresh. I enjoyed the meal for the most part and thought I had finally located my carry out spot. The second time I ordered I got one Fried Chicken with Fried rice (pictured) and an extra order of just Fried Chicken, Broccoli with Garlic sauce and a side of white rice. I was disappointed by the presentation of the fried rice, and it didn't taste better than it looked. The broccoli's sauce looked watery and when we tasted it, it was not what we expected. Even after reheating it was not pleasant. I was going to still eat the food, so I dumped out some rice on my plate and BOOM, a black hair in the middle of the rice. The rice was compacted in the box so the rice was either packed into there or cooked in. I was disgusted, and ended up only eating a wing or two. I was so disappointed because I had a better experience my first time ordering. The wings were the only reason I was able to give this location more than one star.

Fast & caring delivery. Usually takes about 25-30 minutes. The nice lady on the phone will tell you 40 minutes. Great business idea ! Great quality entrees & Great portions perfect for lunch ideas! Each order my food came fresh and hot that's a plus and rare now days Half & half is sooo good ! have to order two next time. One isn't enough for me. 10/10 overall definitely would recommend to anyone looking for good quality Chinese in the Bowie/PG area

My only Chinese restaurant of choice here in Bowie. The prices are a excellent value for the portions and quality. I order here about every 2 weeks. Delivery is fast and correct. The special dinner combos are a particular good value. I always get the ribs and fried rice combo which comes with soup and egg roll. Hunan Garden's entrees are as consistently cooked as a McDonald's. But always fresh over 5 years of ordering. They always include the condiments. Just look at these serving sizes for $14.

I stopped in on a whim because I was craving some General Tso's Chicken, and I figured, what the heck. I placed my order and was told it would be 10 minutes or so. The young lady that took my order was friendly and she accommodated my request of shrimp fried rice, instead of pork fried rice that comes with my meal. I also received wonton soup and an egg roll. My order was up and I collected my fortune cookies and other condiments to accompany my meal, which were placed outside the ordering window. The soup and egg roll were good, nothing unusual there, but the shrimp fried rice seemed to be a bit on the burnt side. The shrimp also seemed to be cooked on the side and then just thrown in, sort of like an after thought. The chicken itself was rather good and cooked very well. I just couldn't get over the burnt rice taste. Needless to say, I didn't even finish the fried rice portion of my meal. It could've been a bad day or a bad moment for my meal. Either way, not sure I would return in the future for anything else here. Guess that's what I get for stopping in on a "whim!"

Yesterday I purchased shrimp and chicken Hunan, small hot and sour soup and order of shrimp spring rolls. The appetizer and soup were good but the Hunan was not good. The chicken was not full cooked, tasted bland and the rice was not cooked. This used to be one of my go to spot in the area but sadly not anymore. I ordered from here maybe 4x this year and each time something has disappointed me.

The food is amazing! I'm from New England where we holdChinese food to a very high standard and this place surpassed it. We ordered fried rice, lo mein, crab rangoons, boneless spare ribs, orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was flavorful and the meat was so tender. 100% coming back here again!

Stopped in to pick up pan fried dumplings . The place is literally a little hole in the wall , unassuming , with a couple of chairs and a table for those little packets of soy sauce, hot mustard , and the other stuff . The dumplings were very flavorful and the dough wasn't too thick . They were a little shy on the filling which was a bummer since you only get 6 in the order . They barely fried them so when I got home i through them on the frying pan to crisp them up a bit . I would order them again but make sure to request they do the fry .

There must be a new cook. I ordered my favorite dishes, Mongolian Beef and Shrimp Egg Fu Young. They tastes NOTHING like the food I have ordered over the years. The Shrimp was larger but the dish lack taste. The Mongolian beef was very bland with loads of onions and bamboo shoots. There are no onions or shoots in that dish so I must have received something else entirely. I am so disappointed. I used to think they had the best Egg Fu Young anywhere in this area. I'm a little sad. This place has been my go to for over 10 years.

Pretty good option when you're craving quick Chinese food. This was my first time and I wasn't dissatisfied. Though I hate they were out of shrimp lo mein!Still, my orange chicken was pretty good and there is definitely a lot of bang for your buck (an orange chicken combo with lo mein and an egg roll, a general tsos chicken combo with rice and an egg roll and a 4-piece order of teriyaki chicken on a stick for just $20)!

I have been using this take away for 20 years or more through various ownership changes. Unfortunately, the service and food quality has significantly dropped off. The lady taking orders on the phone or in person does not speak or understand English very well which causes problems. On one recent incidence I was given someone else's order. A few days ago I ordered the chicken with almonds which they have on their menu. I went there in person to point the dish out to the lady who takes orders as she does not recognize the word almonds over the phone. When I got my food home there were no almonds, the rice was stale and really awful. It is a real shame that a once great take out restaurant has fallen on such hard times.
