Humitos Grill Restaurant

This is not the hole in the wall Greek places I'm used to. Humitos is a fantastic restaurant with great interior space. We ordered the beef and lamb gyro sandwich and a Greek salad with falafel on it. The sandwich had great flavor but it was so loaded with lettuce and tomatoes that it was essentially a salad with some meat at the bottom. I'm also used to double the meat on my gyro sandwiches, this one was a bit hidden. The Greek salad was exactly what we were expecting but they didn't include the black olives which is a BIG deal for a Greek salad and what my wife and daughter loves the most.I'm excited to try something else like maybe the moussaka would be better? But the sandwiches I'll pass on next time.

Thought we were coming to a Greek restaurant. Where are the Greeks? Turned into Latino Food- AWESOME! Loved it. Service- very goodAmbiance- oh my. Where do I begin. First off bar was covered over with patrons doing shots, scream singing to music playing louder than any concert I've ever been to. Stove lights started in the middle of dinner.

On a Friday evening, my boyfriend took me to Humitos Mediterranean Grill Restaurant located in Airpark Place. I liked how the restaurant had blue and white walls. However, the restaurant had minimal decorations. After placing our drink order, Luis brought us Hummus. The Hummus consisted of mashed chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic and served with warm pita bread. Instead of getting regular fountain beverages, each of us got Jarritos Pineapple Soda. My boyfriend loved his Falafel Gyro, which consisted of pita bread topped with crispy chickpeas, hummus, lettuce, tomatoes, feta cheese, and spiced falafel. It was loaded and hard to pick up but super delicious. I enjoyed the Chicken Scallopini, which consisted of linguine, topped with chicken breast cooked in a creamy white wine and lemon caper sauce. It was delicious and filling. I was amazed at the generous portion. In addition to the Chicken Scallopini, I had a side of tasty Green Beans in Tomato Sauce, which consisted of sauteed green beans covered with a marinara sauce with diced onions.

The food was delicious and fresh. The lamb kabob was perfectly cooked. The calamari was an excellent appetizer. Clean atmosphere. Friendly servers and environment. Will definitely be back!

I've been bragging about this place a d perhaps it was too soon. It seems like the quality of the tast of the food is starting to decline. My last two visits the food was bland and pretty tasteless. The Lamb Chops did not have that sweet savory taste, just plain ol throw it on the fire taste. The spinach... lackluster whereas it was very flavorful in the beginning. And not to mention that it appears they are now skimping on the portion amount. Now I'm not looking for a portion to feed 2 but more like feed 1 and not a 1/2 of one.I dunno Humito... you might end to put on the do not frequent list.

I enjoyed the food here. I placed an order via Uber eats and came to pick it up in person. It was ready quickly which was nice. I got the Greek salad. It was good but not great. I think there was not enough dressing provided.

We went on a Tuesday around 6 PM and we were the only ones sitting at a table. The food was decent but not fantastic. They were out of lamb. The server spent all of her time talking to the few people at the bar very loudly and took a long time to bring us the check or give me more water when asked. It was pretty pricey as well. We will not return.

Such a nice little spot in Montgomery Village. Delicious food and very nice owner, Elmer! Thanks for a great dinner!!

We pre ordered our food for pick and we were told 15 minutes. It took 1 hour. While we were waiting the music was very uncomfortably loud and we love live music. We ordered 2 orders of chicken kabobs, falafel and lentil soup. Chicken was very dry and burnt with no flavor. It was so bad that my 14 year old who loves chicken kabobs would eat it. The wooden stick brick in the middle due to being over cooked. Lentil soup was all broth and no lentils. Rice with the kabob platter was dry and no flavor. If a zero was possible I would give them a zero. We won't be going back.

Incredible food we have been to the restaurant a few times and have ordered takeout. Elmer the owner even brought us out other dishes drinks and desserts to try which were all incredible Dishes look like artwork Can't wait to try more dishes. the chicken rolls with avocado so yummy should have taken more pictures
