Hub Sports Bar & Grill

In the area so called up a quick friend for a beer here. Here around 130 on a Sunday, during a Raven's game. Place was not packed. More on the quiet side even tho the bar seats were full. The speakers in the back of the bar area were non existent but you could still here the tv.I ordered the usual wings/fries and rum and sprite. Drink was strong. Wings were ehhh. Hot on the outside to touch, cooler on the inside. Fries were kind of oily as well. Not what I was used to years ago.

Average neighborhood bar with cheap drinks & food. I like coming here & I like the service but the hub need to get it together. I went here yesterday & they had absolutely no heat. Everyone had there coats on & they had a little space heater behind the bar. One day I came here over the summer & they had no air, it was so freakn hot that I had to leave. Hopefully the owner will work on getting the HVAC repaired.

I am downgrading this establishments rating to ZERO. If I had to give it the one star it would be that the prices are still good.If this bar were to have a motto, it would be:If you need a bar experience real bad, we have a real bad bar experience for you!Let me explain the negatives, on a Saturday night no less:The diversified clientele is now gone. The only other caucasian gentleman in the bar that night, was dancing by himself near a table, in circles, throwing up gang signs, to his favorite Rick Ross song. As if that weren't bad enough, he was only too proud to show myself, the staff, or anyone else willing to glance his way exactly what he was about. THAT'S keepin it classy Baltimore! Really?Along the same lines with clientele, the blue collar gentleman that sat next to me(I say blue collar because his name was on the front of his work jacket), almost knocked me off my barstool with his body odor. Maybe a shower before you go out for drinks with your work buddy? Maybe throw on some deo just to mask your stench before making public appearances? Anything? Really?The staff: At first, the staff was fine. But as soon as the manager(Nick) left the premises, both bartenders anchored themselves on either end of the bar. Unless beckoned for service, you simply weren't getting any. There were 2 bartenders and only 15 patrons, this is horrendous service! Before I left, I ordered food to go. In my case, it was a simple italian coldcut. First, the bartender overcharged me, even though the "special" sign was feet from her face. Note to staff, if you only have four food specials, please familiarize yourself with what they might be. Really?After pointing out the overcharge, and even stating what the price was behind her head, $4.33, she still rang it up as $4.99. Really?The food: Maybe being on special means they don't use as much meat as they normally would. This had less meat than a Subway sub. Really? As least the mozzerella was real and fresh, but if you can't taste the rest of it what's the point?Unbeknownst to me, the sub also came with fries, nice! Fresh cut fries, sweet! But, not knowing this, and having hapless bar staff, do you think there was a katsup or salt packet included anywhere? Nope! Which pretty much made the fries worthless! Really?By the end I was literally embarrassed to be there. And embarrassed for everyone else that was there. And wondered if they felt it too.

It's a small bar with great drinks and food. My place to go and relax. Some nights there is a DJ. It's always sports games on multiple TV's. I don't like they are charging to get in now though.

Writing this review after having some good wings and shrimps from Hub with my wife. They have large selection of drafts and more than 400 liquor bottles in bar shelves to select.One of the best bar in NE Baltimore. I live in Cedmont community and seen in last 4-5 years, this bar put other area bars out of business like Ray Charles, Overlea Station, Birdland and many more for (sale)...... HUBS best food, service ,ambience and prices ......(by city paper) gives them hard competition.I go there after work for relax and surprise to see, Bar is always full any day and time of the week.I also use there LIQUOR STORE for package goods which they guarantee lowest price...lower than regular Liquor stores (just compare ) Also open 7 Days 6am to 2am..even on Sundays.

Place is awesome! This place has some really good craft beer and delicious food. The have 10 Dafts 5 or 6 that they switch up depending on the season. I always go for the burger & wings (which I think is one of the best I had in Baltimore) with a side of their awesome freshcut fries. I haven't eaten upstairs in the pool room but main bar they everyday some activity(DJ...) You won't be disappointed at this place!

found a roach in my salad. Do not eat at this place. I did not pay and walked out. Lucky i didn't sue them.
