Hong Kong Carryout

The place came highly recommended by a local, so I gave it a try Saturday night.Even though it is a carry out place they do have a couple of tables, in case you are too hungry and can't make it home. You can see a grill in plain view from behind the counter, so there are no "mysteries" in your food.I ordered shrimp egg foo young combo and my friend got lo mein. There are absolutely no complains about food, no unexpected surprises. Everything was cooked perfectly, no burnt oil taste or color. What more do you want out of a chinese joint? I will be back!

I am absolutely surprised with this Chinese restaurant! The food is definitely worth the price. I've gotten their egg drop soup and lo mein and they are my all time favorite Chinese food!

I am so torn on this review. I have ordered from here 3 times. Each time I have ordered the same thing. Sesame chicken with an order of spring rolls. The last time I ordered from here will be my last time ever placing an order here. The food was delicious BUT I found a freaking bug in my rice. I tried so hard to convince myself it wasn't a bug. I just stopped eating. Closed it and put it in the fridge and came back to it the next day just to be sure. There was a small black bug sitting deep inside the rice. And it was dead. I looked and saw there was another one. I was so grossed out. They looked like gnats or fruit flies. It sucks because their food is so good but I just cannot get over the bugs in the rice. Unfortunately I did not get a picture.

For real. I'm writing a review for a *Chinese Carryout* (faints). A friend and I stopped by on our way to the closest craft store from her location in South Baltimore. It was on the way and I figured we could grab something hot and easy after a very very late night out.I ordered the General Tso's bean curd with the thought it would be 'meh'. It was so hot, crispy yet still chewy on the inside I had to stop myself from licking the plate. It was SO good in fact that my friend was mad she got the the chicken General Tso.I know there's not often too much to say about egg drop soup. But, it was hot and not too salty and the egg rolls were delish.For real. *Carryout*. There are only three or four tables. But, it was so good we came back a few weeks later specifically to eat here again.Who knew there was good carryout in Brooklyn? Anyone? Anyone? Bottom line: don't let the strip mall fool you.

I order from here on many occasions. I have found that every order has been cooked to perfection. The staff is friendly and even there delivery staff is as well.

We order here at least once every two weeks and in the last two weeks with paying online our card has been used multiple places, got a new card from the bank and only ordered from here and 2 days later more charges for up to $1500 total.DO NOT USE A CARD OR MAYBE IT'S ONLY HAPPENING WITH ONLINE ORDERS

Some of the food was burnt! I am a little surprised by this because this has been my go-to place for a while. But then again, I have not been here lately. I got shrimp fried rice and some of the rice actually was burnt, as well as a bit of the onion. The service was perfect. I gave 3 stars because I am hoping this was a one-off event.

I'd give in 0/5 stars if I could. Couldn't even order because the old lady that answered the phone was extremely rude, couldn't answer simple questions about their own menu, hung up on me twice while I tried to pay with my card, after telling me I couldn't pay over the phone. yelled multiple times while on the phone and was just all around a B*#%+.

They're always kind fast serving and I've never had my order wrong they always make sure everybody has a mask on and the food is very good.
