Have you ever been to a Chinese food restaurant & wondered what exactly are you eating? Well, this isn't that type of place! Their chicken seems to be chicken breast that is always fresh & tasty. I have had sweet & sour chicken, sesame chicken, & General Tso's chicken and my husband usually gets steamed dumplings & shrimp fried rice. We have never been disappointed. The only item I have had here that is what I consider average is the crab Rangoon. It's still good, just have had better. The portion sizes are great, the food is always hot when we get it & the service (both delivery & pick up) has been fast & friendly. Any time we're in the mood for Chinese, this is the place we go to and so should you.

I have passed Ho Wok for years and never considered stopping there until I read glowing recommendations for their food on the NextDoor neighborhood networking website. I gave them a try and am so glad I did! I have been back 3 times since!Pork fried rice has large chunks of pork, not the gross fatty globs and gristle or tiny "crumbs" that many Chinese restaurants. Rice has great flavor. Chicken with the sweet and sour chicken is the perfect size, with just the right amount of crispy breading. I wasn't a fan of the lo mein, I thought it was a little greasy, but it also had a generous amount of lean pork and I will probably give it another try. Take out containers have been filled to overflowing each time I ordered.This is a take-out only restaurant, with no room for tables and chairs. Just a pick up counter and room for a line to queue when busy. The place a little worn and ragged looking. Overlook appearances and you will be pleasantly surprised!

Very disappointed. This place had been recommended by numerous people so we tried tonight for the first time. They forgot our egg roll with the combination, the rice and plum sauce for my mou shu and the fried noodles for the soup. To top it off, the food was mediocre at best. I recently moved to the area and am still looking for a decent Chinese restaurant. We won't be coming back here again.

This place is so hit or miss. One time I got the spicy sechuan beef and it was so spicy and delicious. Next time no kick at all. Their crab rangoon are pretty terrible. My kids like their lo mein. Not consistent.

Decided to try this place for delivery as I am always looking for the next best General Tso chicken. You know, once upon a time, General Tso chicken was actually a spicy dish. It seems that no matter where you get it now a days that feature has been lost. This was a very odd experience as I will explain...First cost vs. value. They are charging the most in the area for a large General Tso chicken or Sesame chicken and such at $10.50 for large. Now the large came in the same size container as the Dinner combo meat portion of the Sesame chicken, which also came with pork fried rice, egg roll and soup. So I didn't feel I got my extra dollars worth from the large, but rather a great deal with the dinner combo. More, these pieces of chicken were HUGE chunks of all white meat chicken. They were so large that they left extra space in the container when piled in, so I was done in only a few bites. BTW all items came in traditional Chinese carryout containers, no resealable nice containers.Taste. Everything was seemingly prepared correctly however none of it was very good flavor wise. The GTC had a weird flavor and no effort to be spicy but the sesame chicken had good flavor. Back to the huge chicken chunks, most of you may say "whats wrong with big chunks of white meat chicken?" I say I would rather have the odd shaped, random looking dark meat chunks with fat, fried chunks where I'm only 90% sure that this is actually chicken meat. I want that! Where the pieces are extra crispy even after sitting in sauce on the way to my house. I also had the sweet and sour chicken. It was awful. Batter was thin and not soft, chicken pieces were dry and tough, and the sauce was very bland and had an awful flavor. Top it all off with a few other notes. The pork fried rice had no pork in it, or vegetables. The delivery took a solid 65 minutes and I'll keep searching for better Chinese delivery! I say nay nay.

Ordered takeout and it tasted like the week's leftovers! Horrible! Egg rolls tasted like it was old, chicken was dry, and the lo mein had old chicken & pork and way too spicy to cover up the fact that it was leftovers from the week. Yuk!!!!

These folks have GREAT pride in their product. Be prepared to wait a few moments for some items because they won't begin making them until you arrive (even for phone in orders$. They want to ensure it is warm and perfect when you get home; don't want to take a chance you may be delayed in traffic enroute to pick it up. They welcome a phone call when you get close to tell them to go ahead and start preparing it for you! Very conscious of the quality of their product you are taking home to your family.

If I could give 0 stars I would this is literally the worst Chinese food in the area. How do you mess up fried dumplings? The flavors and textures are totally off. I can stomach a lot of different things, I've never thrown away an entire meal from a Chinese restaurant this is a first. Absolutely disgusting! Do not waste your money
