Chicken legs dinner, 6 piece ($9): this meal was HUGE! Def a 2 meal portion size. Unbeatable value. Came with fries, coleslaw and a piece of bread. Chicken skin and seasoning...crispy and delicious. Meat itself...a tad on the dry side. Cole slaw was better than expected. 5/5This place is a hole in the wall and smells like old fry oil. There is dine-in, tho most ppl did takeout. Food took a long time. Definitely recommend!!

I was highly disappointed with my order from Hip Hop Fish & Chicken. I ordered a side of mac and cheese, jumbo shrimp and 3 wings. The jumbo shrimp came with sliced bread and fries. It was supposed to have cole slaw but I didn't receive it. The wings also came with fries. The mac had absolutely no flavor. The fries were soggy, wings salty and shrimp rubbery. Everything tasted like it was fried in old oil. I asked for tartar sauce for my shrimp and didn't receive. I'm sometimes willing to give places a second chance, but this experience was quite off-putting. I can't recommend this place and I certainly won't try them again.

Great for breaded chicken with extra bread.Hip Hop Fish & Chicken is a small eatery catering to the simple American delight of deep frying everything. Chicken, seafood, and veggies are all given copious layers of breading before being submerged in fryer oil and sprinkled with homemade garlic powder.While the extra thick fried breadcrumbs gave everything I ordered a wonderful crunchy texture, it took away from the natural flavors of the foods I ordered. I tried their chicken wings, chicken legs, chicken livers, jalapeno poppers, and fried okra, and all of them tasted very similar.Selection is also deceptively limited, as many of the items on the menu were sold out by 7:30pm. If you like fried food, Hip Hop's got you covered, even if every dish on their menu tastes similar.

It is what it is. A fast way for fish and chicken parts. Very bright and glaring, and the food is no more tgan it claims.Not much more tosay about this, except perhaps the cultural predispositions that accompany fried chicken andfish. Jowever, this is theonly place toget gizzards in quantity. If you have a condition that requires large quantities of gizzads, there is no place else.Eat well, tip well.

Ordered on DoorDash so I am stuck with it. Fish, mac n cheese and fried mushrooms. How could you box these burned mushrooms up and think it is ok? The fish is fine and mac n cheese is very good, unfortunate because I will never order delivery again from them.
