Hip Hop Fish and Chicken - Beltsville

Hip Hop Fish and Chicken is doing its thing in Beltsville. The gizzards were so good that they didn't make it home! The kids had some pizza from here earlier (not pictured), and I was surprised by how good and fresh it tasted; the sauce tasted homemade, the ingredients were good, and the crust was enjoyable and crispy. The whole experience was enjoyable and much better than in other locations. We could smell the waffle batter, and you know what I'm ordering next because it smelled divine!

Hip Hop Fish & Chicken has multiple locations, primarily in the Baltimore area, but has a few other spots in DC, Temple Hills, and Glen Burnie. This location has been open for about 8 months, and I'm glad they came to the Beltsville area!They offer a variety of items on their menu such as Fish & Chicken Combos, sides, and desserts. I stopped by to get their Half & Half - love that drink! Get the 44 oz cup - you'll thank me later!It's self-serve, so you can determine the amount of ice you want. Just note that these cups tend to leak a little, so grab some napkins.Service was super friendly!There's plenty of parking in the shared plaza lot; turning in and out can be slightly difficult due to the traffic.+Half & Half!+friendly service+plenty of parking in the large plaza lot

So glad Hip Hop Fish & Chicken is in Beltsville with an added twist of Pizza. It is a huge location with an endless menu. I highly recommend their chicken wings, fried broccoli cheddar bites, and fried mac & cheese bites. Also the customer service was absolutely wonderful. I really enjoyed this location it's nice compared to others that I have been too.

I liked this place. I was craving fried chicken, and decided to try this place. The staff were friendly. The service was quick even during the dinner time rush. The restaurant is well lit and inviting. Overall my order was delicious.

4.5.22Husband picked up a 1/2 chicken. Fries were crispy. Usually at other locations, the fries are soggy by the time he brings it home. The chicken was a bit overcooked, consequently dry and slightly harder than normal. As you can see from the photo, the seasoning was also not distributed evenly among all the pieces. Overall, not bad, but the chicken is generally better at the other locations. My husband said they have only been open a month so hopefully they improve with feedback.

If you know, you know about Hip Hop Fish & Chicken. A staple for many in the community offering delicious fried fish, crispy chicken, and much more. The new Greenbelt location is also offering up some tasty items that you may have not seen at all Hip Hops, chicken & waffles! A Fluffy waffle piled high with juicy chicken. You can't go wrong. And while your at it don't forget about the spicy green beans, Mac & cheese bites, and that cheesy pizza.All in all, it's a nice addition to the area for your grab and go chicken, fish, and even pizza.

Location was shabby. Bathroom stall in the men's room had it's door in the floor and detached. 5 of the 8 fountain drinks options were marked "out of order". Clerk (middle aged gentleman) who took my order was simultaneously on a phone call (seemed a social call) while ringing me up.All the food was hot. Fries were good. Nothing special... But far from mediocre. Chicken tenders were grisly and unevenly breaded. Hush puppies were large but no butter was available. Everything had a seasoning on it which seemed to be primarily salt and sugar. Unnecessary and unwanted.I won't be returning.

Food was good. Glad I finally went in. I got the two piece fried whiting and four piece whole wings with fries and cole slaw and a side of hush puppies. My Husband got ten fried whole wings with fries and cole slaw. The fish and chicken was good. The seasoning they sprinkle on top of everything is just delicious. The fries were just fries. Hush puppies were delicious and also sprinkled with the seasoning. I also got the peach cobbler, very good but small. We also couldn't resist getting the Icee's.Only gripe I have is that the customer should be able to substitute the fries and cole slaw for whatever sides they want and not having to pay extra for additional sides.

We are back to check out the new location & menu items like pizza, which is only available at this location!One thing that really stood out to us was the crispy Catfish Bites, the flavorful cheesy Mac & Cheese Nuggets and the bomb fried okra! They have fried chicken breast at this location but could be less dry. The Half & Half drink was on point! This location has indoor seating and you can also do take out. They offer parking since it's in a shopping center. Prices are reasonable and they offer a variety of fried foods and sides. The crack salt is seriously legit but make sure not to add any extra cause it still is salt. Haha

Food prepared and ready crisp and well seasoned. Pricing is reasonable. I would like to see a few more fish entrees.
