Hip Hop Fish And Chicken

I was staying at a hotel nearby and upon passing decided to stop to check it out. So glad I did. The locals were flocking to it. Take out only. I had one of the fried white fish with collard greens and green beans. The fish was so crunchy, so delish. I chatted with one of the hotel employees who tells me the locals call the seasoning on the fish "crack" (what I jokingly call the seasoning on Doritos) so addictive good, haha.

Deliciousness on #FISHFRIDAY at Hip Hop Fish & Chicken!!!! 2 Piece Catfish Dinner was so very good ! From Ordering to Out The Door was only 7 minutes. Very friendly Counter Lady, fast Cooks, and overall great experience!!!

very rude glad i hate chicken , waited to long in line for jus there pies and cakes. wanted to try they catfish but how i was treated got nothing.

Extra seasoning please! Yes the white stuff aka crack! Nope it's not actual crack (but if you know you know). I've liked this chain since I first had it at a homecoming tailgate many years ago! A few days ago I dropped my dad off to a doctor's appointment nearby and due to Covid-19, I couldn't go in with him. I got hungry and looked up nearby places, this place popped up. I drove over and placed my order for some wings and fries! They said 10 minutes. Went back to the car to wait.When I went back, my food was hot and ready! I asked for sauce and I got it. That's a big deal. So many places as stingy with sauces these days! I could have used some more fries though. It wasn't as much as I'm used to at other locations!

I have only gotten the catfish nuggets from here but they are extremely good. The trick seems to be to call in an order about five minutes in advance and they'll be coming out of the fryer just as you come through the door. Unlike some fried food they also hold up very well. I don't what their secret is but the catfish nuggest always still totally crispy after a five minute drive home. What's really impressive is that if you have leftovers you can reheat them in the oven the next day and they'll still be good. There is some sort of fryer magic going on.

Never fails! Always delicious! Wings, greens, potato salad, and banana pudding were to die for!! My son loved the catfish nuggets and my husband loved the catfish, sweet potato's, and sweet potato pIe!

Clean establishment. Very welcoming staff and friendly. Large menu with plenty of options. I purchased a fish dinner. Everything was nice and fresh. Very delicious!

Specified the sauces needed... as I was at a salon nearby and nothing. Shrimp are salad shrimp and not the same as the other locations

I'm here every other week. I've never had a problem and my fish is fried hard just like I ask. The service is not a problem, the young lady at the counter is such a gem.

This location has gone downhill. The trash in the dumpster behind the building was overflowing and smelling badly. I ordered 50 wings and a quart of coleslaw. The coleslaw was spoiled and smelled. I ended. up having to throw it away. The chicken was ok but tasted like the grease. had not been changed in a long while. The floors and counter needed to be swept and wiped down. Very disappointing. I will no longer patronize this location. Really unfortunate.
